I went for lunch with my Mum here, we ordered the omelette which came in a ciabatta. I didn?t like the taste but ate most. All afternoon I had awful unpleasant smelly and eggy burps. I ended up being up all night with sickness and diarrhoea and I feel really awful today. Luckily my Mum?s was fine with no nasty side effects. We be going back to the cafe though.

Love this store, however only 4 stars as I hate the self service checkouts!

An interminable wait for a cup of tea, queued for 19 minutes. Some simple thought applied to the ergonomics and layout would help.

When I ring the Maidstone number I expect to speak to someone in Maidstone not a computer message and eventually someone who can't answer my very simple question. "Do you have a selection of Men's suits in the Maidstone Shop?" Not, err, query about location of shop, wait, then while they are checking their computer the line goes dead. Was the question that difficult? an employee in any branch would have known instantly. Pathetic. One star only becasue it won't accept feedback without.

I telephoned today to ask a simple question. "ARE SUITS AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING AND PURCHASE IN YOUR STORE???Perhaps I might be given a simple answer.... YES or NO.

Me and my family come here all the time. The food shop is quite large and even bigger clothing and home section. The cafe is good too! The staff are always lovely here!

A nice M&S store with plenty of parking. This is a modern building with a Food Hall and a Cafe. They have all the usually clothes and food items but the cafe is very good. As we went on a Saturday afternoon the cafe was full, as we arrived we just managed to get a table. There was no wait time so we got served straight away, the Chicken Ciabatta and Falafel & Halloumi wrap are tasty. We had those with their Rwandan Roast coffee, 2x Cappuccinos and a Latte. They have 3x EV Chargers in the car park - BP Pulse Chargemaster, unfortunately only one car can be charged at a time, best to check the app as they probably get used a lot.Recommend!

My daughter?s had a bra fitting with Diana. I cannot recommend the service and Diana highly enough, Diana is extremely professional, kind, considerate and welcoming.Diana knows the products extremely well and found the perfect bras. Diana is a credit to M&S Maidstone.

Loaf of bread in bakery section costs 30p more than nearby Tesco's. With it also being smaller, and drier.Everything else you might want is constantly unavailable or shifted around for "Seasonal Items". I know Easter's coming up, but I don't want my grocery shopping to become an egg hunt in itself because of it. Who even eats hot cross buns anyway?Yoghurts noticeably higher price since January, 85p now instead of 80And 8 pack of medium-large cookies that had been "Price-locked until Easter" is now conspicuously absent, having been replaced by a 7 pack. These are just the ones I've noticed however I'm sure there are more, even as someone well to do who could afford it a line has to be drawn somewhere. These aren't just rip-off prices. These are M&S rip-off prices.

Brilliant food Hall, Usual clothing range well set out over 2 floors.

The quality is good but the prices are very high, the layout of the food hall is poor and very little room to walk and pass other shoppers. Good selection of produce but anything prepackaged is expensive, lose vegetables are the better option. Need more staff at the checkout and more space, when you have a baby in a buggie and a toddler you are always in someone's way.

I popped into M &S to swap an unopened packet of knickers that were the wrong style and cut for another packet which cost exactly the same price. I had my receipt but I was told that as it has been more than 35 days since purchase that this was not possible. We have been away on holiday for half term and unfortunately I didn't get a chance to exchange before we left so it had been 45 days since the date of purchase.I completely understand the issue with giving a refund after a certain number of days but I cannot understand the issue with swapping an item with a 'like for like' item that is available on the shop floor. The two people I spoke to were unhelpful and unwilling to show any flexibility or common sense. I will be reluctant to shop at M&S in the future.
