The mechanic was polite, attentive, knowledgeable and interested to genuinely help me.
The advice was honest and not a fake one, just to meet some sales targets.
Definitely will use this branch in the future, if they will keep this genuine interaction, by helping customers.
The fact that all personal were interacting in the same manner with all customers, was something that I haven't seen in a long time in any previous garages that I've serviced my car.

The guys in the shop did a great job fitting the new tires. My 3 star rating reflect that.
Your pricing approach is a joke and I think seeks to take advantage of uneducated customers. Your operative initially quoted over £1300 for for tyres. I said that felt very high given what I had seen on your website. He then said he matched the web quote but only matched the per tyre price without any bulk buy discount. The £1300+ came down to £1,088.
I asked about the 15% discount for buying 4 and he said he could not do that. So I had to do an on line order whilst sat with him which came to £936 - some £400 less than the original price.
I appreciate business that are on line have less overhead, etc, but in your case the customer has to go to the centre to have the tyres fitted! So quoting and in- line price for customers you assume are shopping around, whilst vastly overcharging anyone who just turns up at your centre is really poor customer experience, especially for vulnerable, perhaps elderly customers who may not have the know how to search in line.

I was a little apprehensive of using Kwitfit given past experience and previous reviews but the ability to use blue light discount led me to give it a try.
I was actually pleasantly surprised, I got a same day booking for 4 new premium tyres at the Maidstone branch on Loose Road. I recommend Bridgestone Potenza Sport for anyone interested.
During the alignment It was picked up I needed a new track rod end (which I already knew and had planned to get done soon). They advised that it would need doing soon to avoid ruining the new tyres and without being pushy they offered to do it there and then if I wanted, despite it nearing 17:00. The mechanic picked up the part himself so I wasn?t waiting long on the delivery and they had it fitted very quickly despite it being spur of the moment.
So 4 premium tyres, a track rod end and full alignment in less than 2 hours including wait times etc with only a booking for the tyres. They made me aware of potential future issues regarding wheel corrosion but didn?t try to entice me to spend more money with them.
The mechanics were friendly and knowledgeable, you don?t feel uncomfortable like you do in some garages and unlike the other popular name brand garage which rhymes with balfords, the mechanics actually know their stuff and are happy to show you what they are talking about.
All be it minor, it?s the first time in about 6 years that I?ve had any work done away from my regular garage and although I can?t speak for every branch, based on this occasion I?d definitely return to Loose Road. Big thanks to Brad and Dexter, really good guys who are trying hard to better the reputation of Kwikfit.
