What can you say about HMV? Well it's deserted most of the time. Some have mentioned (no names no packed lunch) that the music played in the store carries subliminal messages that influence the human digestive system. I certainly needed the toilet upon exit even though I had taken two imodium. Careful if you have IBS.

I bought a CD to come home open it up and find the case completely cracked.
I'm very unhappy as this was bought to be a keepsake. I'm unable to take it back the clear packaging is now removed.
QC is obviously lacking in this store.
Won't be purchasing from here again.

Great vinyl section - could do with more categories instead of the usual alphabetical rock and pop. How about a section devoted to coloured vinyl or categories in decades..

Really good selection of movies, TV series, anime. Also they got amazing t-shirts and gift mugs, staff are kind and approachable.

Most items in these stores are way overpriced for what they are, £15 plus for blue rays is just a bad joke, anime which costs £40 or more is sick, they have a good selection of movies, CDs and vinyls but charge too much for it all, especially with the internet prices, either they lower their prices or they will go the way of blockbuster.

I haven't been to HMV for decades due to living abroad. It's very different now but lots of fun t-shirts and memorabilia, collectors items and gimmicky toys. Not so much vinyl or CDs to flick through, but of course this is 2024 and that's how I used to spend my time in HMV. It's still a fun shop, never the less.
