There was aome confusion with a quote that I received over the phone which was very very stressful but man at reception (think his name was Adam but may be completely wrong) was super helpful and really understanding. They?re always so nice here and will definitely come back. Thanks!

The Maidstone Halfords tried to rip us off by charging us too much for a simple brake pad replacement through their Brakes for Life Scheme,. They said that the disc and sensor need replacement when they are the ones who replaced them before. This is a bad practice. I can confirm this by taking our car to another garage, thus making the brakes for life scheme warranty void. The charge for the replacement is half of the cost that Halfords was charging us because the sensor and the brake discs doesn't need replacement at all. Don't be fooled by this service center and be careful with your dealings with them.

They just try to loot out of you. The receptionist called me threatening they will fail the MOT if I don't change the tyre and quote me £178 for single tyre. Upon asking them about other options of type which cost less, they said they don't have it in stock. After talking to manager I managed to get tyres from another place and came to know the threat was just a way loot me as the tyre had only a crack on a portion of the tyre which it would only be an advice on MOT and not a fail. They also tried to charge me £170+ to change spark plug and after checking with another garage it only cost £100 including labor. All they are trying to do is squeeze out pockets. I am not alone in this case I had checked other reviews and they all say the same. I also missed to mention, I initially booked mot + service and while handing over the vehicle i came to know that they will do MOT first and I don't understand what's the use of booking and paying upfront weeks before the service date and have to get it rescheduled to waist your valuable time and peace of mind. Kindly avoid this center as it is a scam. I wonder why they respond to each and every negative review especially when they are not interested in improving. I will never ever go to them or recommend them to any one. I will scrap my car if this is the only garage on earth left. Beware the receptionist is trained on tactics not on customer service.

Booked my car for 4 wheel tracking alignment for Friday. Adam emailed me to say they couldn't do it as no alignment to be able to do the rear tracking. He phoned round to other branches and managed to get me an appointment at the Ashford branch

Brilliant experience at Maidstone Autocentre from start to finish following problems with my clutch. FREE clutch check booked easily online for the day following the problem. Repair was done quickly and expertly and I was kept informed by the friendly, helpful receptionist of the progress every step of the way. Highly recommend!
