Save your money!My family and I stayed for 3 nights of hell. When we walked to our room the corridor stank of weed. When we got in the room there was many defects. The first thing we noticed was no towels were provided for our stay and then the bathroom light didn?t work. Later we realised the tv didn?t work and there wasn?t a light bulb in one of the lamps. One wall light was falling off the wall and was very unstable. The sink taps were also hard to use as you would try to turn the tap on and it would move with the turning action. On the first night the people next door were banging doors, screaming, shouting and were very loud in the early hours. We stayed here last year but it wasn?t that bad. It has gone down hill a lot since then.. Do not go here - book somewhere else.

I only stayed 1 night. The room was OK, a little cold, the bed was clean and comfortable. Couldn't get much hot water from the shower. The gentleman that checked me in was exceptionally helpful and very welcoming. Lots of free parking. I didn't have any food but what was being cooked certainly smelt nice.

Food quality,value&service really good.Nothing to complain about! Early booking time advised- gets busy later& not many staff.Food & drinks: Monthly Sunday carvery.Wine not a ripoff.Noteworthy details: Service&help very good for disabled people.

Ample car parking space. Had 3 course work christmas party and disco at £40.00.Terrible food. My roast potatoes were not even whole. Crushed and got the bad ones. The other plates had whole and nice brown ones. Few slices of lukewarm turkey slices. The dessert was lovely but the quality of cream was cheap. It tasted so awful. The gravy was cold.However, the staffs were friendly and warm. Disco was nice- DJ played varied genres. But the seating was not spacious enough. I could not really relax. 6/10.

Stayed 3 nights, room was a good size, very high ceilings! Lots of storage although the bathroom could have done with a bit of a deeper clean, and the rusty towel rail could have done with being replaced.Other than that, all ok.Very friendly staff, and the food was very good.Plenty of parking at the rear of the hotel.It was about a 10-15 walk into town

Arrived early ( 2 and an half hours early) and was allowed to check in. Staff very friendly and chatty. Our room was very spacious and clean but had a musty smell. Soon aired out with windows open. The bathroom had cobwebs and dust behind the door and the shower cubicle was dirty. The toilet made a screeching sound when flushed the first time, then wouldn't flush at all but the staff were very good and it was fixed just over an hour after reporting it.Breakfast was lovely and brought out quite quick and evening meal was beautiful. Dining area well set out.Rooms: The rooms are very nice and spacious but the bathrooms let them down with cobwebs and dust behind the doors. Shower cubicles are not clean!Food & drinks: The meals are worthy of a 5 stars

Stayed at the Grange Moor hotel for one night, and the room was lovely and clean, comfortable bed to sleep in. Easy reach to the town centre. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. Staff very helpful.

Nice guy who welcomes me. Unfortunately, the bar was closed due to guests misbehaving. Room was spacious with lovely creaking floors. It was noisy, but a nice bed and nice shower. I had a very nice price for one night. It's not a star hotel but I like it. I would give a rating of 7.5

What an awful dive this place is and for £85 per night which doesn?t include breakfast is criminal. Waited a while for someone to come and check us in as the staff member wearing no uniform was stood outside smoking. We had to pay for the room on check in rather than check out?. I can see why!! No one in their right mind would pay their prices to stay here when they see the room! Dirty, unclean and it hadn?t been cleaned for a while. There was still a used razor left in the shower from previous guests! Bed was hard like concrete, plaster hanging off walls, cups weren?t clean to have tea and coffee in. Pillows were thin and useless. Couldn?t find anyone to speak too about making a complaint! Breakfast was overpriced and staff were lacking to welcome you to a table! Coffee was awful and tea was just as bad. Fawlty towers would have been a better place to stay!!!

Excellent hotel. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Had booked a double room for 2 nights, a few weeks before, but due to unexpected travel plans, I had to book a double for an extra night and a single for 3 nights. We were able to keep the same double room for the 3 nights so no having to change rooms, even though it was a separate booking. Both rooms were perfect and our rooms were on the same floor. Cannot find any fault with this hotel and will certainly be staying again.Rooms: Comfortable beds, clean room, large shower in bathroom. Plenty of drawers, etc, for belongings. Tea, coffee, milk, and sugar provided. Kettle in room and also a hairdryer.Food & drinks: Ordered coffee to sit outside with. Got a lovely pot of coffee, enough for 3 cups, which was perfect for me. Great tasting and excellent price.

We left early?.. the room was not up to the standard we expected based on the info on booking.com Toilet seat is yellow with wee stains, window handles are hanging off, bed is so soft it?s like a water mattress, the sink has blue gel on it from previous guests and then we tried the shower today and on full blast it?s a drip only. We arrived and they gave us a room in their over the road building?. It felt like an old doss house

Absolutely Awful! Arrived just before midnight and was walked down the road with all our luggage to a house down the road from the hotel as their 'sister hotel'. No soap in dispenser. No toiletries although they're shown in their publicity photos. No phone in the room so no way of asking for some soap without walking up the road in the rain. Bathroom door punched in. Toilet paper holder broken. Wires showing from centre lamp. Large first floor windows with unrestricted openings.Breakfast: not served with all the items shown on menu. Coffee was from a packet of powder that included sweetener - disgusting and so on and so on. Asked receptionist for details of who I should raise my concerns with. Have emailed them twice with absolutely no reply thus I am writing this as they can't be bothered to respond.
