The staff do not know how to use an online gift voucher. I double checked that I could use a gift voucher in store before I went in. The staff were adamant that I couldn't use it. The Internet signal is poor in there and their own WiFi doesn't work so I couldn't show them. When I went out, I figured out how to use it after a quick Google search. I'd already purchased the item by then and couldn't be bothered to go back. Please train your staff properly and maybe teach them not to be so cocky while talking to customers.

Products are good but I am not impressed with being forced to use Self Checkouts as I think it's a horrible way to have to shop, stressful! Bring back check out staff!

Woeful pharmacy, understaffed and clearly not able to cope with demand. Don't even try and call them as they never pick up. AVOID!

Self checkout staff was a bit rude. I could understand that staff can do more than one job at a time whilst being assigned at self checkout, but being a retail staff myself, customer service is always a must. Not being miserable or looked like you hate your job. Was waiting with my friend at the self checkout to be age verified for paracetamol, looked around and no one was around. Waited patiently, and saw a member of staff doing bits on the other end of the store. Smiled and waved at her and all I get was an annoyed, miserable face coming towards me. She did the authorisation, no greetings, grabbed the basket from the next self checkout angrily, and left. Not the first time, but needs to be addressed as I always give really great customer service even to rude customers, but I don't get the same treatment. I mean, I don't expect to be treated nicely all the time, but at least a fake smile would have been better than being miserable. Hope she is alright though.

Awful layout of the shop with narrow isle. All it takes is for one ignorant person to stand in the middle oblivious to anyone else and there's no room for you to get past either side. Everyday basic items are in the most ridiculous of places. For example anti fungal cream is located behind the counter, Bonjela is located in the cough medicine Isle, rather than the most logical place in the toothpaste area. Very difficult to navigate your way around

This is the reason why I always go to boots for my eye tests. Always provide the best service.I booked my appointment online, had a few notifications to let me know if my upcoming appointment, then lastly a call before to confirm as well.On the day I was seen by the optician Amanda who you could tell knew her stuff and I saw she had a 5 year service award (hopefully she got more than a certificate), they had a new machine (my first time probably not theirs) using to see how my eye sight had changed over the past 2 years. She took the time to explain what the changes meant and recommended some special lenses based on the reasons I wear glasses. She also advised on something with my eyes I didn't know about, as well as a thorough eye test and what the 3D image of my eyes showed and what the results mean. Thankfully I had no problems.I was then shown where the glasses were and given some time to look for myself. After some looking Ana came over to then help me make down my initial choices and help with glasses that needed unlocking. I was then able to choose my prescription sunglasses and narrow down my choice of glasses to 2 choices. She was then able to give me the pricing of all options as well as advise on the buy one get one half price, as well as, a third one free (frame only); and advise on protection for the lenses. I will now return in a few days after deciding which of the two glasses to buy and then wait for them to come in.I will upload the sun glasses once I go back. Didn't take a photo but was very happy with them.14/1- returned to pay for my glasses and sunglasses and took a photo of them. Really happy with my purchases. When I went back all the info Ana had previously taken read there and the glasses were still in stock. Going to collect them in a couple weeks as I was given my collection date after payment.

I love Boots it's always a great shop and this Boots was huge covering 2 floors. I am not sure whether it was because it was post Christmas but this Boots was quite messy. However I found what I needed and moved on.
