“A fantastic little pit stop in the heart of Maidstone along Fremlin Walk!

Whether you’re after a proper browse or just need a breather, Waterstones is perfect. Great coffee, comfy corners, and plenty of space to flick through a few pages. It doubles up beautifully as a mini library if you’ve got time to kill.

The café is surprisingly good too - ideal for a calm catch-up or a solo recharge. A real gem to mark on your map if you like good books and better coffee.

Thank you ??”

“Quiet parking
the shower could use some freshening...
And do something about the parking lot full of cars with foreign registrations who don't pay and take up space...”

“Always a great place for picking up a decent book or two at a reasonable price. Has a great selection of SF books, romance, art, music, movies, history, DVDs etc. Friendly staff as well. Quite a turnover of books so grab it if you see a favourite book as it is likely to be gone by your next visit (I have learnt that at my cost many a time). Probably the best secondhand book shop in Maidstone (though some of the others are not bad either)”

“As I approached the post office area I was met by a very pleasant young man who took my parcel weighed it and issued the appropriate stamps. He was patient and friendly and made the whole experience easy, a credit to the post office. Smiths shop has an amazing supply of good quality stationery and greetings cards too, plus very helpful staff.”

“I was served my the store manager Stephen. First of all the store and everything in it was absolutely beautifully presented (Most stores are abit messy so it's harder to find things) and secondly, most importantly, the customer service I recieved from Stephen the moment I entered the store was 10/10. I got everything I needed and more because I felt so comfortable to ask for more help. Thank you again for the wonderful experience (sorry if I spelt your name wrong Stephen, I forgot to check with you before I left )”

“A charity shop trying to achieve the best it can do with as many donations for the generous community. The products are of reasonable quality to high quality and that can be a problem in it self. Especially to the audience that is variable at best. However, they have been donated products so it’s understandable and they are volunteers doing there best to engage all the customers. This is a really small shop and there be a limit on number of people in store for safety reasons.”
