My mother has been a client of Accessible Care for 4 yrs this year, and always spoke well of the carers and the company, But since the change over of the company things have changed for the worst, her regular carer Gabby who she trusted and who always went the extra mile has been taken away from her and my mother is very upset she has had no explanation as to why.Before the change over of carers my mother had Gabby most of the week now Gabby is a carer for my mum one day every fortnight and my mother would like her back as usual.Since the take over the company has introduced i pads for staff to write Daily Duties, so I am unable to access information about my mother's health and how she has managed during the day, I did speak to someone in the office about my concerns because when my mother wasn't well I contacted her GP and he wanted to know if her condition had been written in her notes by the carer's as evidence and I couldn't answer because her notes were not available to me. My mother has a visit from her Parkinson's nurse this comming week and it would have been good to have written evidence of how she is when the carer's visit. When I mentioned this to the office back in November they explained that shortly we would be able to do this on line and we will be informed by letter when this will happen, so far heard nothing.Today I answered my mum's phone the carer who was comming tonight claimed there was a lot of carers off sick so the carer she was expecting wouldn't be comming, also because the carers mum was in hospital sheasked if she could come earlier, my mother said yes but not before 7pm because she likes the carer to make her last hot drink for the night the carer said that was OK but the carer turned up before 6pm so that was no help for my mother my mother told her not to bother and go and visit her mother instead.As a relative I am very disappointed and alarmed that the company is failing in the amount of available care and the well being of the clients and their staff because they are being messed around to.My mum has phoned and complained but nothing has been rectified.The lack of star's are because of the response from management in rectifying the problems and not appreciating how it affects the clients, this does not include Gabby and Joanne and the rest of her carers who's names I cannot remember who she would give 5 stars.
