Waitrose is a good shop. The Longfield branch is especially good, as it's not too big. Just wish it wasn't so blinking expensive, then it would receive five stars.

All staff are really friendly and always there should you need any assistance.
My favourite products at the moment are their pink Fiona Cairns cakes!

Easy parking, usually quick through tills and staff are wonderful, happy to help and nothing is too much for them.Only downsides are waitrose prices are higher than elsewhere and selection is smaller. But service and quality balance that out. That said they also have some great bargains at times.

I went to Waitrose on the evening of Dec 23rd, and naturally most aisles were out of stock in anticipation for Christmas. I asked a young man who worked there if he could help me find some sponge fingers, and he was extremely pleasant and willing to help, even though he was busy stacking shelves somewhere far from where I was. (I couldn?t find anyone else closer to the other half of the store!) When he saw there were none on the shelf they were supposed to be on, he went above and beyond to find some for me. He checked the warehouse, he checked the top of the shelves and the surrounding areas, even though I know he must have been tired, working on one of the busiest days of the year. Unfortunately there were no more of the product left in stock, but it was such a heart warming experience nonetheless, and I wish I?d taken his name. He made me smile and I really appreciate him remaining so cheerful during such a busy stressful period in retail.

As a user of this store since it opened, and carer of 2 adults with compromised immunity, hearing a member of staff on the shop floor talking to a colleague with Covid over their headset just now - very loudly and publicly - and telling them to come in if they feel able has totally put me off coming back.
