Absolutely fantastic view in the beer garden. Great staff service very chatty and polite. Food is good great carvery on a Sunday and drink variety good. Nice old decor inside plenty of dining area. Ample parking

This is a lovely pub/restaurant.
We went on Friday 18th at 7pm in the restaurant
When we ordered our food we was told it was a bit of a wait for food, we said that was ok, thinking it was going to be about 20/30 mins. After an hour my husband managed to call the young girl over to order a second drink and in inquirer how much longer the food would be, the young girl checked and said it was going to be atleast another half an hour! We said can you cancel the food then and we'll have the bill for our drinks. When we paid the young girl said sorry, and I did say to her it wasn't her fault but waiting 1 1/2 hour's for food was totally unacceptable, she said come back in 4 week's as it'll be better, its being addressed, I said sorry but this has completely put me off coming here again.
They did have a singer and people outside, but the restaurant wasn't very busy, we wasn't the only people to leave the restaurant without getting any food.
Maybe restaurant bookings shouldn't of been taken if they didn't have the facilities to supply food

Lovely traditional pub. Comfortable setting, good menu choices. We ordered seabass and fish & chips. Too full for dessert, we ordered coffees. Staff are attentive and friendly. Will definitely return for the festive Christmas lunch!

Took Mrs B here for Sunday Lunch.
There is a huge terrace outside, which overlooks the valley. On a sunny day it's a great place for a drink.
We ate lunch in the restaurant. Mushrooms on sourdough + Halloumi fries to start, followed by an excellent carvery. Absolutely stuffed afterwards.
Great Lunch I would highly recommend.
Parking: Park opposite the pub, in the church car park.
