We visited for a double 40th birthday celebrations (twins) and we were let down by the food. The Mediterranean lamb kebab (pictured) was very underwhelming. I left feeling like I had eaten half a plate of chips, a couple of bits of lamb and some garlic bread. The lamb was flavoured nicely but tough. The ?flatbread? was more like a pizza slice of garlic bread, and the whole plate was padded out with chips. They have a proper pizza oven there and could have made really nice flatbreads.Someone on our table had the pork belly that was overcooked and tough too.The atmosphere and staff were great and I and maybe the chef was having a bad day but I am in two minds whether to go back which is a shame as we live a 5 minute drive away from them.

I visited the Vineyard, Lamberhurst for a large family lunch (28ppl) in the Garden Room in March. I hadn't visited previously, but I was very pleased with the venue and the staff were fantastic throughout. Tia from the events team was helpful coordinating the booking, menus and answering questions beforehand. On the day I was welcomed by Katie, and our server Alisha and the rest of the team were excellent - so friendly and helpful. We had a great meal and I will absolutely return. Thanks again to everyone for your help and a lovely day.

Really nice setting, old worldy decor, lots of quirky dining areas, a great menu, I settled for the Sunday roast, which was amazing, but there were plenty of other options. Great hard-working, attentive staff. I highly recommend this gastro pub chain. Chain isn't the word as all venues are individual. Quality, style, and professionalism is the link

We had a family celebration with 16 of us, which included several children. The staff were helpful and the food was delicious. There was a bit of a long wait for one of the meals that came out wrong, but all in all a lovely atmosphere and very nice. Would recommended!

What should be a lovely family pub is ruined by staff who display irritation that the place has customers. I rarely come across a place so devoid of any customer centricity. It is known in the area for its appalling service. Simply asking the bar staff for more than one drink usually prompts a huff. Food is fine and quick. But?you can?t help but loathe majority of the staff

It?s a smart pub, part of a small upmarket chain. It?s big and the food is good. To me, it lacks the atmosphere of a local pub and it?s also quite expensive.

We had a family birthday dinner celebration, service very slow albeit waiting staff apologetic. 3 of us had fish and chips which were very poor quality frozen pollock with overcooked batter , so disappointing when other pubs in the area charge the same but offer fresh haddock far superior quality and same price . Really do not expect this at ?Elite? pubs and won?t be returning for a long time

After a tiresome day at Go Ape (a 10 minute drive away) we stumbled upon The Vineyard and immediately we were impressed by the lovely venue and grounds. We did not book and there was 9 adults, 1 baby and a dog in our party. The waiting staff welcomed us with a smile and got us a table quite quickly with no fuss at all. Our waitress was attentive and went back over our order to make sure everything was correct. The food was amazing although expensive and might not be worth the money but nonetheless very tasty! We are so greatful for our lunch and the quick service. I?d definitely return if there was no 12% discretionary service charge! ????????
