The rooms are double with comfortable beds. The rooms are upstairs. The decor is dated but it is clean and tidy. The shower pressure was amazing! The continental breakfast was self service toast, panna chocolat, yogurt, tea, juice, cereal, coffee. The staff were really helpful.

Great food in a charming village location overlooking Boughton Green. Lots of room indoors and in the garden. Went in for homemade pies and veg for lunch!

Wow , !!
Love - in this village pub , the atmosphere was warm , welcoming and dog friendly.....
We booked a table (booking is recommended it gets busy ) for a home cooked Sunday roast ...

Always admired the outside of this village pub so visited today for Sunday lunch with friends.
Not very impressed with the roast. I had a Turkey and pork roast. Unfortunately the pork was fatty and didn?t taste very nice. The parsnip was extremely hard and the Yorkshire pudding was flat and soggy , and that?s before gravy.
Sorry but we won?t be back.

An absolute gem of a pub. Lovely evening meal and great drinks selection. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The pub was fairly busy on arrival with people eating dinner but the kitchen were clearly unfazed and the food arrived surprisingly quickly. The menu had something for everyone and we all enjoyed our meals (including young kids). We stayed overnight in our campervan in their field out the back en route to France. We were amazed there was only one other van in the whole field. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again.

A nice place to get a (deserved) drink after a walk.

We had the best day on Saturday at the Flying Horse. We had our wedding reception which was only booked 3 months ago. We called in to see Tracy and Paul and they give us the perfect day and managed to do it on our budget. Everyone complimented the food, atmosphere. The staff were so friendly and accommodating towards everyone. We had guests of all ages from 3-90 and we had the best day ever and we are sad we cant do it all over again.
Thanks again from Simon & Danielle

We used the pub and the landlord very kindly allowed us to stay the night in our motorhome in the paddock. The food was good albeit it was served in cardboard boxes and the beer was in plastic cups due to the local village fete being celebrated and the H&S brigade would not allow proper crockery and glasses. We spent a quiet night here.
