Great time at Harts Holiday Park! Need to give a special shout-out to the swimming team, Julie, Elaine and Billy they were so helpful during our stay nothing was too much helping the kids with arm bands and noodles for swimming they really made it a great experience for us!

Just returned from a lovely stay at harts. I have to say that I enjoyed absolutely everything about my holiday. I made some beautiful memories and made some wonderful friends with my neighbours. I had some interactions with the staff, I did get lost when I got there, but I met two lovely ladies from reception Jay and Maisie who showed me to my caravan. Luke the maintenance worker carried my luggage and offered to make me a cuppa lol. I see him in the bar that night and went out his way to come over to make sure I was happy with my caravan. The pool people were lovely and kind. I booked again to come back next summer with jo who helped me with my discount. I just feel like there?s not a lot of appreciation for what they do. Well done troops

Always had a soft spot for Leysdown after spending summer holidays in my nans chalet when I was a kid. After a lot of thought and discussions about purchasing a caravan/chalet, we visited Harts. The park itself is great for families. Children are well catered for with play areas, mini golf, arcade, swimming pool and various other activities. There is a bar with restaurant and a launderette. The park is walking distance to the main street of shops and arcades and the beach. Upon arrival we were greeted by Tanya, a lovely member of the sales team. She was great, informative and helpful. She listened to our requirements and showed us a range of caravans within our budget which we might be interested in. She also took us out in the buggy for a tour of the site, which you really have to do to see all the areas of the park. We ended up purchasing a lovely caravan and even got to pick our pitch. From start to finish the whole process was made easy with Tanya's help and expertise. Within two weeks we were in our caravan, such an amazing turn around. We were kept informed throughout. Tanya has been an absolute godsend, she is always willing to answer any questions and queries and issues we may have (even on her days off!) Nothing is too much trouble for Tanya. Must also mention Richard and Jasmin in the sales team as they are as equally supportive, as is Dave a member of the maintenance team. The staff in reception are also friendly and helpful. Overall our experience of caravan ownership at Harts Leysdown has been a great one so far long may it continue. A massive Thank you to Tanya and the rest of the sales team, you really do provide a five star service.

The caravan was nice, well presented. However the kids parks need updating only really safe for 6 and above, under that age they can't climb up themselves. The kids entertainment was the same every night , they just need a bit more music like a proper disco, it just felt a little same same think of a rubbish game to pass the time no real effort. The cash machine and change machine were constantly out of order. And the prizes for for tickets were not good. The swimming pool is ok , good for the kids. They don't recycle anything think they should get with the times.

We decided to book a 3 night weekend away and saw an offer from Harts Holiday Park. The price was cheap so we anticipated basic accommodation and that was fine. I arrived with 2 children and a greyhound after a long drive. It was dark so we dropped our bags and went to get food at the restaurant. At the restaurant the food was ordered and we sat outside on a messy terrace with chairs and tables everywhere, napkins blowing around on the floor and food all over the floor under various tables. The restaurant and other amenities look tired and worn. The food arrived, the fish and chips was acceptable but the other dish had stale pita bread, meat was dry and was missing the dip. This was sent back to the kitchen. We then went back to the Gold Plus Caravan and put the lights on. It was disgusting - carpets filthy, sofas all had stains and grime, pans had grease all up the sides, grease over the ceiling over the oven. Floors had hairs and dust, cobwebs and when looking at the pillows there were yellow stains and obvious blood stains. I emailed the company and we went to bed using our own pillows and sheets that we had brought "just in case". The next morning a rep arrived and was nice and agreed that there were issues, there was no where else to move us to so we agreed to stay due to the long drive home and a planned trip to Canterbury the next day. We did not use the caravan for cooking and only as a base to sleep in our own bedding, we never walked barefoot on the carpet. I will never go back there again, and if you do plan to go, take your own bedding, flip flops, ant spray and plan to eat off-site. Horrid Place.

Plus points.. caravan close to exit as i dont drive, man hosting segway put himself out to ensure my daughter enjoyed her experience. Daughter enjoyed play area. Caravan nice. When we had problem with loading wifi, man gave us code for free for our inconvenience. Darren i think his name. Negatives... caravan walls could have done with a wipe down. Maintenance man drives with loud music which woke me from my nap, swimming pool booking is run in such a hitler style. I got told off (i am on holiday!), for being late. Also last session is 3pm? Other holiday parks offer later sessions. Entertainment is lame. No brought in entertainers. Kids time wasted with 20 mins taking photos! Why not do it in the day? I was bored & child long lost interest. I never bought drinks because they are expensive. This is the classic of all clubhouses though. I only come for cheap break tbh. Public transport doesnt run on Sunday's.

Harts is one of those parks you do once in a lifetime and then have a good old laugh about it.. where to start.. Upon arrival it was the ghettoblaster from the employee's buggys which was most noticeable. At least they seem to be enjoying life. The caravan was hired privately and was fine, very close to entertainment centre and playgrounds. The park has some organisational issues. Timings were sometimes wrong, things not on stock or not working, and some at reception seem a little more interested with their nails then the customers. The entertainment was OK, nothing overly special for the kids though the entertainers were funny generally. There was a Zoo entertainer in Tuesday who was brilliant. The staff seem a bit obsessed with people being on stage though. The drinks and food were well expensive though I guess London prices. The food was soso, with the authentic Italian pizza being the biggest insult to Italy, its just a kids pizza.. with cheddar! The arcade was a bit disappointing, lot of them don't work or give you tickets. The best thing was the swimming pool. Even though it was a little too cold, the staff were brilliant with their knowledge and professionalism, always ready to help and even gave our daughter a certificate for swimming a length! Really nice touch. The playgrounds too, even though a little tired, were really good for the kids. The area itself is quite run down and one dimensional, everyone's chainsmoking around kids or smoking cannabis, though having the beach so close was good. So all in all we won't be returning, as you say in previous review replies, Harts isn't the Holiday Park for us.

Just home from Harts and cannot recommend it enough!! An amazing welcome upon arrival from Tom who was most helpful throughout the stay. Had an issue in the caravan but Steve attended within 4 mins and all was sorted. Kids participated in activities with Kieron who was great. Received an unexpected welcome visit at the caravan from a lovely lady - whose name escapes me now - so sorry. The booking was a gift from the grandparents so had no idea of what to except from the holiday, but not to worry as it was fab and we will definitely be back.

Stayed here again (can?t stay away) Popped to the club for a few drinks and a bite to eat was greeted by Wendy who we have met many times and is always friendly. Once the kitchen opened I went to order at the bar, Adam and Libby could not be more helpful, although the kitchen were out of a few items they recommended a choice of food which we chose from, the food was very well cooked and presented well on the plate, obviously not Michelin star but well priced and very tasty, the 2 young ladies that brought the food to our table (Maisie and Maddison) were so pleasant and professional, I did not pick up my own cutlery and Maisie said no problem and fetched cutlery for my myself and my wife. Overall the visit to the club for a few hours was very nice and the staff made us feel special. Highly recommend and thank you to the friendly staff Keep it up you are doing a wonderful job

Came away with daughters 13 and 15 a little one of 1 years and a disabled lady. Had so much fun and lots to do for everyone We enjoyed breakfast on site. So close to the beach - it really is a five minute walk - so many arcades and eating places with a pub or two just off site. We had lovely food in Nicola?s cafe/restaurant and lovely kebabs just off site too (really within minutes) Everything that close never moved the car at all. Went in the sea in the afternoon when the tide was right. There was a little market on. Right outside the complex was a little supermarket - sold everything and still open when we went in at 11.30pm. The only thing that we did not return to and that was the swimming pool - this normally is very important to us but luckily it is not in the middle of Summer. Our first visit of less than 5 minutes I literally mean 5 minutes. You have to book on the day at 9.15 am or you won?t get in to swim on that day (people were booking for the day after as-well just to let you know if you do book). That was ok for us but not ideal for everyone. The temperature was colder than we expected. The staff were rude. A few comments I heard from staff. Get out of that ring now - to a child of no more than 5. Stop that now to another child who was playing with their sibling. Maybe have a smile and approach a little differently and perhaps with a little smile. Segways were fab, £7.50 for half an hour on site - scan the barcode at reception very quick to book then - children (approx age 10) to adults. Pottery and wax moulding or something - If you take children they just need to know how to keep hands still. Children?s activities seemed good - only went to one yesterday - colouring and it was made into a magnet. Bingo in the evening - it?s played with all the other parks too - good prize money approx £200 . Approx 5 games in the book. Approx £8.50 for strip of 6. One line only on 4 pages and a Full House on last page. All over in 15/20 minutes. I?ve played a lot more games elsewhere and it?s lasted at least 45 minutes. Entertainment what great what we saw. My girls have said they loved it and when can we return !! Hopefully this gives you an idea - never wrote such a long review before !! (Still here but leaving in the morning due to commitments) Enjoy you won?t be disappointed.

We visited this park back in may? overall it was a pleasant stay however it was the pool manager Julie and her team billy, Elaine and Maise that made our holiday truly special! It was our sons first swimming experience and they truly did every they could to make it special for us! They provided floats and even brought over lil balls for him to play with, they made sure we were safe and happy, they then even provided a bath with a thermometer making sure it was correct temp after the swim. They let us take pics aslong as no one else was in the pictures and just over all the team were so happy, friendly and had exceptional customer service! We can?t thank you enough we will always remember everything you did for us!

Last minute booking. We didn't use club house and we cooked our selves so can't comment on them. But caravan was clean reception staff were good. We stayed a few extra days and reception jiggled it that we could stay in same caravan. Housekeeping was brill as upon asking gave us a clean set of bedding. Also thanks to Steve & Rick on coming qwickly to fix a small leak we had in the bathroom. Definitely will stay here again.
