Tad has been a delight to deal with. I had a very battered but loved nursing chair and an ottoman that needed recovering. Tad was clear about costs and timescales. He rebuilt the chair and refurbished the frame sympathetically. He supplied new feet for the ottoman which were much more in keeping with the look we wanted....

Tad did a fantastic job on a very battered chair. The workmanship was excellent and the price very reasonable. Communication was great too - he collected and delivered the chair at the times we arranged. I would highly recommend him.

I would thoroughly recommend Tad Sargent Reupholstery, having just had a chair recovered. Comms were prompt and informative, costings and estimates were open and honest and I'm completely chuffed to bits with the end result. Sitting on the chair now as I type this!

Hello and welcome,
I learnt my upholstery trade from my father Ian Sargent. I specialise in working with antique and traditional furniture.
Based in Edenbridge, I mainly work within the London area but I also look after customers from a much wider area as well.
From Victorian ironbacks, Queen Anne wing chairs, French Feuiteil and buttoned-back Chesterfields - I am familiar with the full range of traditional upholstered furniture.
In addition I also build bespoke upholstered headboards and ottoman boxes.
