I visted Tobay Of Hythe Fish & Chips for the first time yesterday with my family. It was the best Scampi and chips I have ever tasted. Everything cooked from the fresh. The scampi in batter was delightful. Crispy and crunchy and the chips were divine. A lovely relaxing atmosphere and incredible friendly staff. Big thanks to staff member Joanne who was very friendly helpful. With service and quality food like that I will definitely be coming back to Tobay Of Hythe.

Reserved table. Lovely warm reception when arrived. Have been eating there for a few years now and it never fails to deliver, hot delicious fish & chips worth the wait always cooked fresh to order. Friendly waitress.

Visiting from the north and this is hands down the best chippy we?ve tasted in a while. Lived in places down south and nothing has ever come close to this! Service was amazing, they made battered onion rings especially for us. 10/10

Took my 3 year old here for first meal out and she loved it! The food is delicious and reasonably priced and the staff are friendly and efficient

Food was on the smaller size, portions not great really, Jumbo sausage was overcooked and tasteless. You?d think considering their charging an extra £2 between the small and large sausage that?d you?d get at least an extra scoop of chips.
Personally I?d avoid in future.
