Got asked to leave because the shop hates dogs. Was told it was a no dog policy. If you don't put a sign up at the door, what do you expect. No one to blame but yourselves. The old woman was rude and seemed to get a kick out of asking us to leave. I would recommend using the one in stade St. as it is a completely dog friendly nicer staff, a bigger shop, and more to offer and has a cafe that is also dog friendly.

Wow!! Had the worse reception from an empty charity shop in the high ever yesterday, Bank holiday Monday 02/05/22.Despite most of the high street being shut for the bank holiday, we did our usual tramp down the high street were most charity shops were open, so we missed about in all of the opened ones. As we we?re greeted by all other shops with a cheery hello, good afternoon etc we were pounced on by a very unfriendly and unfortunately gruff man who immediately shouted at my husband ?NO DOGS?!? well as much as I understand that dogs, even on leads, are unacceptable in food establishments and even in some other establishments, our dog is a tiny chihuahua, who was being carried by my husband and posed no earthly threat to the stock or to the throngs of invisible shoppers, as the shop was completely empty other than the man and one other behind a screened till area. Well for the thousands of other invisible shoppers I do apologise for thinking my custom might have made a difference to the takings for the day. To the staff member, learn to be more customer aware, you might even attract a customer to buy something, obviously better than an empty shop/till!!

As a kidney transplant patient & Carer to my mum who has dementia, we are Shielding and have had tremendous support from the Community Support Hub (AgeUK Hythe & Lyminge). I have not been able to book a supermarket delivery slot & the Hub have done my shopping for me.

Polite, welcoming staff. New goods and gifts, as well as good quality clothing, shoes, bric a brac and some childrens clothing and toys. Would highly recommend this charity store!
