Sad that Homebase is closing down. This was my go to store as I find their prices and variety very good when compared to other stores.

** Great & informative service from Bill with regard to indoor paint. Linda on checkouts was most pleasant and professional. Oh, and a month ago got a great deal on 2 balcony chairs and a table. Homebase is definitely my Now Go-To Refurb Destination above B & Q. Nice!
*Just moved to Herne Bay, and have tended to use BnQ for DIY projects ... however that may all be about to change. A couple of times that I've visited this store, the staff have always been most helpful and the purchases preferable to BnQ. This time not only the item bought was good, but both Natalie @ checkout and Mandy on the shop floor were most attentive, informative and pleasant.

We recently purchased a new kitchen from the Herne Bay store. We were helped by Nicola who came to our house to measure up and talked to us about our ideas. She then designed the kitchen and when we saw her design it was almost exactly what we had in mind. Very helpful and friendly lady who is very good at her job

This is a very run down store and needs to be revamped. I visted a few years ago and assumed it was going to be done up but i was wrong. I viated today and its a mess and very old and tatty.

A wasted journey. Two thirds of the shop is cordoned off. No signage, so don't know what's being done. Upgrade, maybe?
