I was given a battered banana instead of a battered sausage, I am fuming as they told me it was a battered sausage on the house as I was a new customer there and gave me that instead, it?s as if they took it out of their lunchbox and said ?here ya have that I didn?t eat it so you can have it battered? absolutely would not recommend

Fish was crispy, tasty and fresh. Chips portion was huge! Have been here a few times and will make it at least a monthly affair.
Some parking available in lay by but if it is full then parking available at the rear of shop. Cash only.

Unfortunately the chippy isn't close enough to use as our local but we do use it when in the area, for us by far the best chips and consistently so

It was ok, we visited very near closing time so not much to offer and no vegan option so ended up with just chips! It was cash only!

Lady on the counter needs to learn some customer service. Did not order after being interrogated as soon as I walked in. Asked for an item and went to pay by cash but she just pointed to a sign saying cash only. Did not try the food as was put off by her attitude.

Whilst the food tasted alright it was rather oily and I spent the entire night vomiting after eating their battered cod. Definitely be careful.

This is an amazing please. Our whole family was a little worried when Jim sold the chip shop quiet some time ago now. And we loved it so much before but the lovely family that took it over is doing a great job. Food is always wonderful service is great and they really make a big deals when you come in and see them. I know times are though for everyone and takeaway aren't always possible but when you do get one you want it to taste good and have no regrets ("that wasn't that good" or "I wish we hadn't bothered") which is what I say most of the time when we get takeaways now. But not here it's always hot fresh and tastes amazing. I'd 100% recommend it to anyone for a quick lunch or a chippy dinner. ?

Absolutely ridiculous ordered from here and went to go get it when I looked i realised i only got 1 dinner when i ordered 3 dinners when i went to tell them the woman behind the counter said it was my fault and demanded i pay another £14 for the other 2 dinners when i already paid £14 for my cod and chips. They do not listen at all even my dinner was completely wrong i ordered a small cod and chips with mushy peas and i received a large cod and chips with curry sauce so so ridiculous.
