One of the worst places to shop in town. Nearly all of the staff are extremely rude and ignorant. Spend your money elsewhere.

So the staff knows how vouchers actually work ? Asking to pay on top of my voucher even though the total cost is less than my voucher money ? What kind of of inexperienced staff do you have ? That old lady needs to be respectful and learn some manners and learn vouchers actually work

I don?t like it because when I shop there I usually only use a hand basket and I pay cash only and all their express tills are CARD ONLY MACHINES (maybe 8 of them) so i always end up queuing for what feels like an eternity behind people at the tobacco pay cashier stand till.

Good place for a.local small shop, but more expensive than surrounding bigger supermarkets. Don't forget to use the club card to get discounted prices.

I bought a brown sourdough loaf on 20 th October . When I got home I saw that on the label on the loaf it said : ' Best Before 20th October ' .
It is too hard to eat and it cost £2.30 .
It should have been removed from the shelf yesterday . The writing on the label is too faint and too small .

The ATM machine attached to your building was being cleaned with a dirty (virus, bacteria filled ). window washer.
45 mins later I was in need of money and shop at my local Tesco Gravesend. It had pools yes pools of dirty residue water on the key pad still after 45mins approx.
I spoke with the individual as he was present near the entrance I told him of his doings and he just ignored me and walked off .
Then I explained the situation to the security guard and he just fogged me off. Then went around the store as normal but felt not good so went queued up at the tabbacco gantry.
Asked the lady working at around 7.48am approx had the customer paid and answer was no at tabbacco kiosk.
Once customer had paid I politely was informing this lady that the cleaner had done the above and was interrupted by her trying to tell the ATM is not Tesco its irrelevant.
Her colleague had done this . All I think she had to was stop being rude by getting all defensive and non professional
it's not appealing to see not to mention any health and safety laws, regulations, duty of care, and so fourth.
I was doing all 3 individuals a favour.
Highlighting that I know for a fact that previous store manager and his colleagues I seen cleaning that homeless area next to the entrance
. She and he needs some form non customer facing jobs training or be a politician and not just a Karen
Then as I was going I was told off by the security gaurd and Kiosk individual working behind shouting to gaurd
So I repeated the same again to the security guard for which he shrugged his shoulders and was speechless just not image where Tesco Chesnhunt would be proud of.

All self service machines are card only. Only one till in operation to support cash payments..

Disappointed that this is now an express. Why tag meat and give the shopper the choice of whether they want a receipt or not. You made me feel like I had stolen something. Not going there again.

Can't believe .my review was taken down because of a swear word. The lady in question is the rudest person I've ever met. How does she get a job in customer service. Slamming food down and really looking down on people. I think it's unacceptable
