After getting repeated email and texts to book a health check, due to my change of address I could only book gravesend.I completed the pre appointment questionnaire and pointed out I usually go Bexleyheath so they could source my records.Upon arrival, advised all was sorted as I asked above, got in with the optician and no records. Optician was robotic. No energy or adaptation she was going through the routine. She informed me my lenses had significantly changed regarding the product and t & cs over their use so instead of using them all month I could only sleep 6 nights in them. A huge change and when I enquired why or what was an alternative product no answers could be given. Is this lack of knowledge or wanting to get me on another product in time which costs more? Awful service, couldn?t wait to leave.

When I went to pick up my glasses the young man I was due to see was off sick, his name Amar. He had been very helpful when I needed help when choosing my frames, but Olivia stepped in and also gave great customer service. She took her time adjusting both pairs and I left a happy customer. But as the week went on after wearing my daily pair one side was causing me discomfort after long time wear.My husband was due to pick his glasses up and was due to see Sammy. After she sorted out his glasses she took a look at mine and could see that one side was indeed quite sore looking. So she took the time to sort that side out and then checked my second pair as well. Apparently sometimes what appears to be a good fit can change with constant wear. I have to say everyone I met during my time in the store had been very helpful and nothing felt rushed at all. Brought my elderly Dad for eye tests, they could not have been kinder, or more thorough. Sammy was lovely, efficient and friendly, Joe did tests and was friendly and professional, can't remember other guys name, think Shad or similar but he was also really good, professional and kind. While there a tiny girl of about 3 was having tests after an accident and a bad experience of a hospital visit to examine her eyes and was distraught. The staff were gentle and so very patient with her and supportive to her Mum. ?

Amazing service again from Dom with my contacts check, he?s so informative and focused on assisting in finding the right contacts brand and prescription so I have the best experience using them. Really helpful again, it?s no wonder I remembered him from before even though it was a couple of years later!

My optician refused to give me my prescription details, I'm aware they don't have to by law, so I had to pretend I wanted a free contact lens trial in order to get it from the box. So now I'm stuck with a box of contact lenses I don't want either. Waste of product, shame. I go to another Specsavers now after this bad experience.

Excellent from the 'get go', was unaware that Specialists were included. No hesitation in recommending Gravesend Spec savers. 1st time to SS after 30 years of worldwide Opticians. wish I had gone much earlier.

The foundation of good spectacles is the proficiency of the Opthalmic examination. Over the years that I have relied on this Specsavers the level of equipment and the quality of the test have always been top class. But it is matched by the people in the store who dovetail all the other essentials to make it so good. Thanks.
