Looks like a relic of the Cold War. Could do with a major revamp to get it into the 21st century.

Food is ok, overpriced though. Particular staff members are very rude and uninviting, demanding to bring finished utensils back over to the counter and blanking customers who are trying to create friendly conversation. The building is incredibly run down with a horrible environment. Would not recommend.

Food is pretty good , large portion size.
Lovely views of the river and really nice to eat outside on a sunny day.
Service is kind of slow , visited twice today and first time had to wait whilst staff finished chatting to order a bottle of water.
Building is really dated and desperately needs a refurbishment or redecoration.
Tables were a little dirty.
Despite this its a handy little cafe and an overall ok place

Nice friendly cafe in gravesend. Its very dated inside and the concrete tables and chairs are not the most comfortable but the service inside is very good.a nice traditional cafe with good views of the Thames.worth a visit for a coffee and a cake.

Always a friendly welcome, great food at reasonable prices, with great views of the river.
Had a fish and chip meal that had very large portions and freshly cooked fish. Included bread and butter but no drink. Great value at £8.50.
Have introduced this place to many friends over the years, and it never ceases to amaze.

What a fab "old time" cafe.Loved the aged american style plush seats (very comfy).Ham, egg and chips, with bread and butter... a classic.

Wonderful family owned cafe! The staff are brilliant and can?t do enough to help. Lovely cup of hot chocolate when it?s a bit chilly out and you can?t go wrong with one of their ice creams in the summer. Highly recommend!

Great cafe in a great location. Reasonably priced and the food was great. Loved the cooked breakfast well worth the money and great value!Can?t wait to go back and try the different flavours of the ice creams there. They look yummy ? my only problem will be what flavour to choose!!!
