One senior female member of staff lowers the tone in the store. She is very rude and disrespectful the way she treats the staff is disgusting!! Barking orders like they're servants.

As with the many other reviews the Asian lady had a shout at me today. Walking up to the till and shouting "here" "here" said yes I know who you shouting at ? She replied " it's my voice" as in other review. Said "it's not you being aggressive" she carried on moaning even though I said can you leave it and we can buy items and go. Surely not that desperate for staff. Horrible.

I doubt you'll find something you want, which is actually a "pound" - the majority of the stuff is cheap quality and not worth it the price. Surprised the store is still going when it's competing against the likes of BM and HomeBargains

I went to Poundland today to return something I had bought yesterday as I had found a crack right in the middle of an item that I had not even opened yet when I went to the till the worker, an Asian lady, recognised me from yesterday and when I wanted to return it she shouted at me saying that she had already checked the item before I had purchased it and that there was no broken parts of it I was so shocked even my 2 year old son who was with me got scared, when she called over her manager she did not even give me a chance to talk. Terrible customer service

Not everything is ... a POUND!!

I went to Poundland to get some stuff with friends. We were almost at the payment till we thought we needed some ibuprofen each, so I decided to get them it was 3 for a pound we are entitled to 3 each since we were paying separately. As I was about to get to the till the Asian lady started to scream at the top of her voice ? no no you cannot buy all of that?, I tried to explain that we were paying separately, but she refused, and that was fair enough but she continued to yell at me and I said please caan you stop screaming instead she was being defensive and said that's her voice, she was so rude and non of the staff could caution her. When I got out a lot of people complained about how rude she had always be.
The customer service is so poor. They need to work o their customer service. That staff is too aggressive!
