racist shopkeeper. came into the store looking for sweets out of their trash collection and he kept staring me down literally poking his head out to look at me while serving other customers. thinking i was gonna steal LOL felt very uncomfortable. rude environment not friendly at all

Pelham Grocers is a great convenience shop. It's located right at the intersection of Pelham Rd and Perry St. It has a large selection considering the size of the shop. Great for a snack, quick lunch or your general grocery needs. Stocks a wide variety of snacks, crisps, chocolate and drinks. Has a small freezer section as well as refrigerated items. It also stocks tobacco products and alcohol. The shop has also recently been made over (Dec 2024) and now really looks the part too.
The staff are the main standout here are the staff and the customer service. Always top notch and happy to assist with whatever you need.

It's a small store but seems like a Super store. Fully stocked with local foods. I saw yam there. Which was quite exciting.

dear Mr corner shop guy, STOP KICKING ME OUT! It is so annoying how I always feel I'm being watched. They are so rude and the corner shop is so cramped and the prices go up EVERY SINGLE DAY. Do not come here unless you want to be kicked out for not wanting to buy anything or even accused for stealing. Stop rolling your eyes at me and stop acting like I'm dirt.

The aisles are very close together and tightly packed. The service is non existent and rude. Avoid unless absolutely necessary!

Very unkind staff who obviously take pleasure in intimidating their customers. I bet they would never stand for someone talking to their loved ones in this way.
