Staff were slagging off one of their team in front of quite a few customers, shop was not layed out well at all and they refused a game because it had slight scuff marks on it... which was attempted to be cleaned with a cloth but didnt put any effort into it and said we cant take it. Took it to Chatham CEX and they took it no question asked, so will not be returning to this CEX...

Ordered a number of things over the years with CeX, mainly via the convenience of online. I really like the return in-store option as CeX have wide area coverage and it's easy to pop into a local branch to get an instant refund within the 14 day window.
I had to cancel an order at relatively short notice online and they were able to do so before sending out the order, so top marks for responsive service. In-branch I was pleased with the quality of service and CeX employees always look like they personally enjoy media and technology (their graphic tees are a giveaway!), which is a reassuring thing to see.
I do have reservations about how much their expertise extends to all tech; are their checks really comprehensive across all the items, devices and media available? Are their checks thorough and effective? Can they sniff out a counterfeit item? But so far I have not encountered any issues.

Bought a MacBook Air from here which wasn?t factory reset and still had the CEX login and now I can?t use it. Customer service have not responded.

Went to buy a ps5 controller they gave me 3 times controllers with faults , had to ask them for the refund on the 3rd time , and each time that i went to the store , they would say that the controller was just tested , wen they were lying about , i will never again buy nothing from this store , they try to convince me that i was the one wrong for trying to exchange the nasty items that i was given , the all came completely full of dust and marks , they just don't care if the item is fully working thy just want the profits...

Absolutely fantastic service from Ricky,he was very helpful in calling another store to see if they had what i wanted in stock, very polite and courteous, to be honest I've never had a problem with the gravesend branch of cex ,excellent ??

One of the best CeX in Kent. Staff are amazing here. Polite and friendly and do their best to help you out. Great range of games, consoles and Blu rays. Would recommend this branch to anyone who is looking to buy or sell.
