They definitely doesn?t deserve to represent heart patients. There are thousands, wants to help. They simply ignore, plus being rude as if we ask donation for ourselves, instead trying to help. Should be reported to authorised bodies!

Just a suggestion for the staff at Gravesend store, went to go in today and the door was block by two people with buckets wanting donations for your store, no one was in the shop and it stoped me going in because I had no cash to put in the bucket, it made me feel uncomfortable, as I?m looking for a dining table a chairs surely that would be a donation, maybe blocking the entrance is not the best way to collect the cash, don?t get me wrong I know you depend on donations but the shop was empty and normally when I go down it?s heaving with people, not the best approach

Booked in for two reclining chairs to be removed, two foreign speaking guys turned up... refused to take the chairs... No fire safety stickers on them... The chair they have examined has had bits fall off it through their rough treatment of the chair...
Showed them the two paper fire safety certificates [that we had/ fallen off + where they were attached], weren't interested... They left without taking the chairs... I'm not happy, needed them taken as in the way of where a hospital bed has to be put...

I had a really disappointing experience at the British Heart Foundation in Gravesend. The staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful, acting like customers were a massive inconvenience. They were also really careless with the furniture, throwing items around and causing damage. I even saw two guys pretty much throw a sofa down the stairs ? absolutely shocking and dangerous.
The prices for the furniture are also way too high. When I asked if they could reduce the price slightly, the staff were completely dismissive. I get that the aim is to raise money for charity, but a lot of people come to these shops because they can?t afford new furniture and are looking for something more affordable.
To top it off, they charge £30-£35 for delivery, which is just too much, especially when people are already trying to save money by shopping second-hand. They really need to reconsider their pricing and find a more reasonable delivery service.
Won?t be going back anytime soon.

Their prices are an absolute joke.
I visited the Gravesend branch yesterday and they wanted £200 for a very small and obviously used sofa bed. I'm not sure if it's still there but there used to be (or still is) a statue of a dachshund that they were asking £175 for! Very cheeky of them considering that everything in there is a donation from well meaning people who want to help a charity.
I thought the point of a charity shop was so those who can't afford to buy new, can still go into a shop and leave with something nice for themselves.
It's a charity shop, not John Lewis.

Will not returning to this shop, waiting in the line for over 10 minutes to be told I couldn?t get the sofa because someone else has taken the tag. There is no where that says when you want something take the tag. It should be first come first serve, even told the guy on the till I was waiting informed the other customer I was buying it and was ignored
Need to improve on customer service and support.

Terrible. Booked a collection for a very high quality large oak dining table. Waited in all day for the drivers to turn up. When they arrived they spent 30 seconds looking all over it and then said they couldn?t take it because it had a scratch on one of the legs. Ridiculous behaviour.

Called to find out what was happening as drivers had not been in contact and what a rude response . Now 4.30 and no contact. Very disappointed , to think this is a charity org. Will not be back

Booked for a morning collection 8-12, of 2 large items. Told twice they were on their way after the allocated time. Once at 12:30 and then again at 1:30pm. Tried calling them at 2:30pm and there was no answer. The fact that I have been waiting for them since 8am and still waiting. Being told utter lies!!

I have dropped off a large amount of furniture to Gravesend branch, was greeted by a very hostile man saying we don?t open until 9.30 it was 9.28, he kept sighing and moaning, if it wasn?t for my late mother wanting her furniture donated to bhf I would have taken it all back, very very ungrateful, please don?t bother

Terrible charity. Total waste of time. Drivers turned up with no masks and refused to take items. I had spend a lot of getting the items ready. I man from the charity ran me on a Sunday and l gave him full details of my items. He told me the charity would take them. Total lies. Very rude unhelpful manager at the shop when l rang to complain. This charity needs to change its advertising, it's total lies. This charity needs to train it's drivers on how to put on a mask and how to lift heavy items that they are obviously to shy to take. Don't say you will take items if you have no intention of taking. Train your st
