The store sells cheap good food, however it is very busy and there is little space to move sometimes. As is the case for all Aldi stores the till service is very fast, actually too fast for my liking as I have been rushed on several occasions which resulted in broken yoghurt pots on my return home. I now avoid buying anything easily damaged in the rush to get bits back in the trolly. Anything marked with money off because it is near dated often gets missed by the checkout operator so best avoided in my opinion. Update 2025 they now have self service tills which makes buying a small amount of items much easier

Cramped, dark and overpopulated. Came here as a one off. Never again. People there have no spacial awareness and are rude when everyone?s in the same boat when it comes to putting the trolley somewhere. Staff are fine but overall place is dated and is very overpopulated. As a normal shop, it?s SO busy compared to places like kings hill and Sevenoaks. Pure stress when shopping for essentials.

You have to do your shopping on daily basis as some of the fruits and vegetables shouldn't be in the fridge for days! On the other hand the always jam packed car park puts me off.

?I was surprised; finally, I realized never to compromise with your standards because it?s cheap. I politely asked for a bag, but the lady didn?t give it to me as she assumed I wouldn?t pay for it. She scanned it and gave it to me, which was fine. As I was leaving, I mistakenly went to the entrance. After realising my mistake, I came back to the exit, where another lady at the counter, who was serving another customer, stopped me like a security guard and started questioning me. My Point is don?t they have security or cameras or something that will not harass every single customer. I don?t appreciate because of one they will judge everyone in a same manners.

I visited today and i was treated horribly by the staff. I was unaware of the policy of how many plum cans i can purchase in one go. I was told to return the others i had picked up and had to take 1 case per person. The person who served me was Jean and she was very disrespectful towards me and my family. She flung the card reader at me when it was time to pay and had a negative attitude. She also repeatedly got up to talk badly about us to her colleagues and other customers loud enough for us to hear.
I wouldn?t advise anyone to shop here especially if you are a person of colour as it is likely you will be oppressed.

The store and car park is way to small for the amount of customers it serves and how popular it is.
You have to judge what time you go to get parked.
Would be 5 stars if it wasn't for this.
