I’m not a guest, and haven’t used any of the facilities there however on Friday just gone, we broke down outside the pub (and had to park in their car park across a few spaces), at around 9:30 in the morning. We stayed here as we did wine tasting at Balfour. Nice pub, evening food was good, but the room is on the main road, really noisy and very hot (fan was provided but we had to close the window as it was so noisy so it was still boiling). Had a lovely family lunch here. Roast chicken was spot on, chicken pie hearty and delicious, and the pan-fried trout really fresh. The real surprise was the excellent English white wine from Balfour – crisp and perfect with the food.
