Got put in a room with an air conditioning unit outside, sounded like a washing machine on full spin all night, so no sleep. Also, the restaurant wasn't doing food as they had nobody to staff it, and we were not notified until after we had checked in. The shower hose also had a leak, so it sprayed all over the bathroom floor, and the bath backed up, so it was about 50mm deep by the end of my shower

The room I had was tired and in need of some updating. The shower tray was black around the bottom edges and the bathroom smells musty.The left bedside light switch has some packing tape over it because it doesn't work.It took around an hour to heat the room. The air conditioning doesn't work well at all.Food & drinks: This Beefeater next door could not offer its diner's any steaks due to staff shortages. Aren't Beefeaters known for steak?It was also very cold in the dining area. Most people kept their coats on while eating. There didn't appear to be any heating on.The food I had was satisfactory.Breakfast was good and I was welcomed by the most pleasant lady.

We stayed here from Thursday to Monday. Our room was on the second floor and the lovely lady on reception let us use the luggage lift to send our luggage upto the second floor. The staff were all very helpful and chatty.Rooms: The rooms were large and comfortable with a deep bath.Walkability: The hotel is close to Rainham high street and about a ten minute walk to the train station.Food & drinks: We went to the Manor farm for dinner and breakfast and both were faultless and the staff were lovely too.
