It's really annoying that the Nationwide Rainham Kent is closed on a Monday and Tuesday, but when the cash machine is also out of order, really frustrating ?

I can't fault their service, however if I went to the branch it would only be on a saturday morning or when I book a day off. I work 7.30 - 4 so by the time I get to the bank they are closed. Opening times is not great for full time workers. Suggest perhaps a late opening time until 6 even if it was just for one day a week would be good. If you want to keep branches open, your opening times need to be more flexible.

I went in today to close an account and was served by Dean. What a lovely man. It wasn't straightforward but he found a way around it as well as explaining what he was doing and why he had to do it that way. Dean also explained other options/explained compound interest to me and was polite and friendly all the way through the process.

I took my elderly parents into this branch yesterday as they'd had a bad experience in their usual one. The lady in Rainham couldn't have been more helpful. She was so patient and actually listened to them. They thought what they wanted to do would take ages but Michele showed them what do to do on an ipad and it was all done in a matter of minutes. It's restored their confidence in going into branch and they will definitely return. Thank you Michele so much for your professionalism, patience and kindness. Top marks!
