Last week Saturday morning my daughter and I dropped by Gregg?s in Gillingham to get our weekly Saturday morning snacks. We are absolutely crazy about the chicken bake but this time around they were out of them. I ordered a steak bake for both of us and told the till person that my daughter was heartbroken she couldn?t order the chicken bake. She was very emphatic and told me that if they chicken bake comes out of the oven and we were still in the shop she would give one chicken bake to my daughter free of charge. In ten minutes the chicken bake was finished and my daughter received her chicken bake free of charge. Amazing service!!!

The food is lovely when it's there, they regularly run out of sausage rolls and in the morning when people pop
in for breakfast on the way to work there will be a queue of 8 plus people and one person serving!!!!

Went around 11 on a Sunday morning and annoyingly not a massive selection of food left in the counter displays. Service was great though and the female till assistant was brilliant at juggling making coffees and fulfilling orders. Sausage roll and bake were a bit on the cold side but that's just the risk with greggs.

Came into greggs around 12:30 this afternoon, the woman who was at the till was very rude and made all the customers feel like they were a nuisance. She called people over with ?can I help you? in a rude way. I know it?s only Greggs but customer service needs sorting out!

I've never been to a Gregs where I was made to wait and watch the server fiddle in the corner and look busy while the coffee machine poured the ALREADY PAID UP CUSTOMER in front instead of asking my order. If you think I'm joking the blonde woman that served me after walking around a bit, checked to see if the coffee was ready yet, no not even half way and continued to pace and "look busy" I'm a massive advocate for the service industry, I was appalled the man in front of me was hesitant to budge out of the way to let the woman carrying stock pass. I saw the look of shock on that womans face when she'd left the stock room and I was still waiting to be served. Just do better. Give your customers eye contact and if you're overwhelmed and busy, pour a glass of water so you can breath and regulate. This Greggs is too close to a train station to not be on the ball with orders. (Two tills but the man who wouldn't budge had card issue) my server was also off in tone when I took the time to grab myself a napkin before leaving the till. The interaction felt like I was made to wait longer than necessary, I already had my app open by the time I got the till, and like I was being asked to hurry up when taking my napkin. Maybe I'm just hangry

My experience at Greggs in Gillingham left me with mixed feelings. On the positive side, their creamy hot pizza slice was a delicious treat that I enjoyed. The flavors were on point, and it provided a satisfying snack option.However, there were a couple of drawbacks that kept me from giving a higher rating. Firstly, the lack of variety on their menu was noticeable. It would be great to see a more diverse selection of baked goods and snacks. Additionally, I found that the shelves were often empty, which was disappointing when I was hoping to try something different.In summary, while the creamy hot pizza slice was a highlight, the limited variety and empty shelves were notable downsides. Hence, I would rate Greggs at a fair 3 stars.

Decent shop, although it could be in a bigger unit. A dedicated seating area outside would be great with comfortable chairs.If you ever planning on going to Greggs and want a sweet treat, I'd recommend the Apple Danish.
