Had my MOT and service done with them last year and was very happy. Called in about a noise with my exhaust recently and they assured me it was safe to drive, fitted me in with an appointment for the next week to rectify the issue and it was done cheaper and quicker than expected.

Said that if i wanted glow plugs, then if the old one's are hard to remove or the new might break as they hard to fit then they charge me more for the extra time and work done...

I took my Ford Focus to Berengrave Service Station due to my car having no power steering.They gave me an extortionate quote of £1780 to replace the steering rack.I was very shocked.I was told that due to the price of the steering rack and the £75 per hour labour costs they could not do it any cheaper.I declined there services and took it elsewhere.I received another quote from another garage,£150 for a second hand steering rack or £650 for a new replacement and £200 Labour costs.I chose the second hand steering rack, which came to a total of £350.Was Berengrave Service Station trying to shaft me !?You be the judge.They wanted £1780 for new steering rack.The quote from an honest garageNew steering rack£650+£200 Labour=£850totalSecond hand steering rack£150+£200 Labour=£350totalIt is so hard to find a trust worthy garage,the guy I dealt with at Berengrave Service Station is a nice Friendly guy and I thought they were trust worthy, obviously not !EditWhen I researched the cost of a replacement steering rack for a ford focus, including labour costs, most results were between £600-£900,not an extortionate £1780.An original Steering rack price for my ford focus is around £600.The one Berengrave Service Station wanted to sell me must have been diamond incrusted and Gold Plated.?

I called this place to complain about a car I had bought from Berengrave Service Ltd. Which turns out is the business next door. Instead of simply informing that I had the wrong number, they told me they'd call me back. They then did so, and told me the car was out of warranty and there was nothing they could do, (despite them not having any authority to comment on the matter, which I was unaware of at the time). A week later, after leaving a negative review for their lack of service, I was contacted by the man who had sold me the car, telling me the business hadn't passed the message onto him and that he in fact could have helped. But in this time, I had already paid for the car to get fixed elsewhere. Instead of apologising for their mistake, they sent me a letter threatening legal action for leaving a negative review. So here is my updated review, to reflect the inconvenience they have caused. I hope it's more accurate for you xo

Called up to get a quote for a part I wanted fitting, was quoted a reasonable price, and got me booked in within the week, dropped the car off the evening before and picked it up midday. Couldn't have been easier, great customer service, highly recommend ??
