We had a party of us turn up 24 of us great evening food was great service was brilliant one waiter I must emphasis that Rick our waiter worked his nutts off he needs a good pat on the back I hope the manor farm appreciate how lucky they are to have a great employee thanks Rick for a very good evening

What a lovely time we had at your place tonight,!!! ? Thank you very much for looking after us, we had a great birthday celebration ? food was on time and enjoyable cocktails ??? Great atmosphere and we will be definitely back again ?

Christmas day ruined, December 2025. Take a seat (but not at this beefeater) and I'll walk you through it.
Pre booked, pre ordered and pre paid at least 4 months in advance, for a table for family of 14 at 3pm
Arrived. Seated. Waited.
Had drinks... No food... Had more drinks... Still no food...
Cleared own table of glasses - clearly not enough staff recruited / on duty on the day.
Still no food, until... 2 hours in, starters arrived around 5pm.
Not great. Soup edible. Pate v questionable...
Approached staff requesting to cancel desserts. Awaited mains.
Another hour later 3 steaks arrived and one plate of fish - inedible. No sides or veg...
Staff v apologetic. But we gave up. Went home hungry.
Refund requested and provided.

Overall a pretty disappointing experience. Ate dinner and breakfast here as we were staying in the Premier Inn next door. At dinner we ordered and were told they don?t have the lobster half from the festive menu. Fair enough, at least we were told.
Then after we ordered and had eaten our starters, we were then told ?sorry, we don?t have any fillet steaks?. Then after our food arrived, we?re told ?sorry we don?t have any peppercorn sauce? asked for hollandaise instead and predictably waitress said ?sorry, don?t have any hollandaise sauce?. Ordered the Zuccardi Malbac and were served a different Malbac.
At breakfast more of the same, were told they couldn?t make scrambled eggs. Overall disappointing. Probably why we were the only ones eating in there. Locals probably know better.

Booked months ago for a meal on the 15th, turned up and found out they wasn't serving meals as no Chef. No phone calls, nothing! Terrible service ?

We had a nice meal, lots of very good choices. The garlic mushrooms were a little oily, the salmon was overcooked and the accompanying new potatoes under cooked. One dish which had chips on it was put on the table and dropped a few chips on the floor whilst doing so. I would have expected the chips to be replaced but it wasn?t offered. The carpet in the restaurant desperately needs updating

Sadly the restaurant was too busy to seat us but thank you to the extremely friendly and apologetic manager who couldn't have been kinder. I went into the pub the night before for a quick glass of wine but after waiting a long while to be served, I decided to leave and go somewhere else. I don't think it's so much the fault of the hardworking staff, it's just a place overrun.

Really liked the place and food was enjoyable, it didn't take long to arrive too. I was a bit worried initially after reading previous reviews but as i was invited had no choice and i have to say i didn't regret it at all.
Our waitress was very lovely, very attentive and service was pretty quick.
Will definitely come again.?

Arrived at 1300hrs, ordered food which arrived 45 mins later. Starters were eatable but that's about it. After enquiring we're are mains were, they arrived at 1445hrs. They were a shocking state, ribs dried out, I had 9 skinny chips on my plate and the chicken was like boot leather. Spoke with manager who agreed and didn't charge for mains but no offer of an apology ie sorry have your Starters free.
During this time period I had time to look around. Walls gad food spatters etc.
My advice avoid this venue like the plague.

Having the 2 course meal deal. Was here an hour before being served our food. Been here two hours now and still waiting to have the first plates cleared, haven't ordered desert yet, and I dread to think how much longer that will be. Shame as the food is not too bad and its a nice building.

The beefeater restaurants are always clean and well prescented.
I have read some recent reviews but decided to make my own mind up.
My experience wasnt great. We had a dish with chicken that didnt taste right so we asked for it to be remade. It took quite a while and we had finished the rest of our food before it came so we said we didnt want it as she brought it over. Lucky for us we didnt eat it as when we looked at it was virchally raw!! We told the waitress who agreed it was raw and appoligised. There was not much interest from anyone else, not even a manager that the chef cant cook chicken properly. They reduced my bill by £6.
Will not go back.
