A very clean and well kept store, can we just look at the speed of the pay at pumps at the petrol garage , since the new system went in , your waiting literally 1minute( I timed it ) for the receipt and payment to finalise.

Today we went to get our grocery shopping in ASDA so to get it hasel free shopping we choose to select scan and go option. After finishing the shopping to do check out when we were almost about to do the payment there an option came mentioning an assistant will come to do a check finally one assistance came and he was randomly scanning the things and said one thing is not detected so need to do scan in trolley bay and there he said to take out all the things out and scanned everything it was so much that we spent extra time there, whereas I was 100%sure that I did scan for everything then only we were getting next item and he said one garbage cover pack was not detected so he did scan for everything. Is it only because we are Asians bcz he did the same way with another Asian too.. here other country people fill up things in their pockets and no one is there to inspect them or we can say that no one dare to ask them. What a racism attitude people show! Here the management should understand that everyone doesn?t have the same attitude there are people who eat with their hard earned money not in free cost. Since two years we are a regular customer and today we were so much disheartened with such a behaviour towards us.

I really hope this reaches the the ladies that helped me this morning, I'm 32 weeks pregnant and I just popped in to get some essentials for my hospital bag when I suddenly felt faint that's when I found Sam in the home wear section I asked if she could help me as I wasn't feeling great and without delay escorted me over to the front of the store to the parcel collection point so I could sit down Sam then put in a call out for a first aider then got me some water from the canteen, that's when Libby who was working the tobacco counter came over and suggested a bottle of lucozade and a mars bar to boost my sugar levels which was handed to me, Libby kept me company as a fellow mum we talked about our babies which definitely kept my mind occupied, after a few minutes I started to feel better and managed to carry on with my shoppingso a huge thank you Sam and Libby

The overs 60s winter menu was suspended as they'd not recd their supplies. Very disappointing as we'd travelled a long distance for it. They were not sure when it'll be available.

Shelfs are often cluttered and un tagged so have to play guess the price and its more or less pointless having staff at the self serve cause they just stand there gormless ignoring you

Shelves are always empty, food is often going bad before you buy it. Must be poorly managed.

Wonderful Asda are doing £1 for soup, roll and hot drink for over 60s. Unfortunately we waited over 30mins for our bowl of soup and roll. When it arrived, soup was lukewarm and roll frozen in the middle!!! Didn't think we could complain as soup was delicious and price was amazing. So a mixed review, a bit more customer service and it would have been 5 stars!

The shop has the potential to be great, but they really need to consider restocking shelves during the day more often. For instance there is not much left on a Saturday at 6pm. Vegetables are out, meal deals bistro have only a few options left, etc. This is a recurring issue, which was raised with the manager a few times, yet nothing is really changing.

I recently had an enthusiastic shopping experience at Asda in Gillingham, and I must say that this store truly impressed me. While it's not quite a five-star review, it certainly deserves a solid four stars for the positive shopping experience it offers.Asda in Gillingham is an expansive store with a vast array of products to choose from. Whether you're looking for groceries, household items, clothing, or electronics, you're likely to find it here. The sheer variety of goods available is a definite highlight, catering to a wide range of needs and preferences. One aspect that I particularly appreciated was the different checkout options. This store offers various ways to pay and check out, which is incredibly convenient. Whether you prefer self-checkout for a quick exit or prefer the assistance of a cashier, Asda provides flexibility to accommodate your shopping style. The store's layout and organization are well thought out, making it easy to navigate and find what you need. The staff were also friendly and willing to assist, creating a welcoming atmosphere. While I had a very positive shopping experience at Asda in Gillingham, I reserve the fifth star for those truly exceptional experiences. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a wide selection of products and a convenient shopping experience. It's a fantastic place to stock up on essentials and more!

Like most supermarkets it can get very busy, and it doesn't help when they either don't have enough staff, or just don't want to open up extra tills.Self checkout is even worse, no one comes to help when till freezes or tags need removing from items.

AVOID ! Untrained staff ! Doesn?t care for the customers !DISGUSTING!! I usually buy from Aldi but decided to try Asda today and I got a couple fruits and to say I was disappointed is an understatement. The fruit had both LIVE AND DEAD bugs inside of the box, I wish I had proof to show but I threw them both in the bin right after seeing the bugs. Also it?s not just one fruit that had bugs inside of it as after seeing bugs in one box of strawberries I opened another to see more squished bugs. Their organics vegetables mostly are bugs infected too !
