Car key remote repair. After extensive research and phone calls, I eventually found John at Timpsons in Sainsbury's at Folkestone. He has been the only person to have the skills and knowledge to be able to solder a new button on to a key fob.
I had two Land Rover fobs which each had a button not working. John managed to solder on two replacement buttons, and then supply and fit both modules into new cases with a new blade cut to match.
I am absolutely delighted to now have two fully working key fobs for much less than the price of one brand new one, which incidentally is what all the other key repairs establishments said was the only way to do it!!!!.
If you have a remote with just one of the buttons not working, get yourself to see John and get it repaired rather than replaced.

Popped in there to get my zip on my coat fixed as It was jammed. The employed quickly fixed it with a pen knife. Took about 30 seconds. ( I was trying for 20 minutes at home ?) and then didn?t even charge me. Amazing customer service.

Went to have a key cut was quoted £12 for 1 or £18 for 2. Said no thanks went to key cutting place in Cheriton and got 1 for £5.95

If I could give this place six stars I would. We went in for passport photos. The man was so professional and friendly. He did the whole process easily??I looked awful in my photo though. Just how old I am !!Would definitely recommend.
