Went in today to get new batteries for my Jacob & co watch. The young lady behind the counter was very helpful and knowledgeable.
I've previously took it to another timpson in Broadstairs and as the inner workings were so intricate the man there refused to do the job once he opened it up (to be fair I don't blame him. It's nice to know the gentleman knew his limitations and didn't want to risk damaging the watch).
This lady however done an exceptional job and I even brought a new strap. I highly recommend her. On top of that it was £100 cheaper than another high street chain I went too that day.
I'm now going to go back with my suede shoe collection to see if she can restore some of them.

Very po-faced customer 'service'. Was trying to return 3 keys that were cut incorrectly (!) but the woman behind the till did not apologise and turn seemed only too glad to point out over 28 days had passed on the receipt.
I phoned the other Timpson branch in Folkestone who said of course they will refund them and they don't know what her issue was.
Nor do I! Choose Park Farm if you want reasonable service. Although ultimately the keys didn't work so maybe choose another company altogether...

Really can?t fault a timpsons can you? Surely that?s not even possible ??keys cut super quickly and cheap as chips, all done with a smile. Top work.

Park farm unit, Absolutely ruined my Gucci belt, will never use this place again, even my heel of my RL boots came off within weeks.The operative working there must be untrained !

Was charged £39.50 to have a pair of Louboutin shoes re-soled!! Provided the red soles myself, which were identical to the red soles they had in stock; then told ?there?s no guarantee,? if ?something happens,? ie the soles come off, unless shop?s own soles were used. When I went to collect, the woman told me she?d also replaced the heel tips. I said the heel tips didn?t need replacing, but she insisted there was ?a bit of wear,? which wasn?t actually true, and the heels looked no different so I?m not completely convinced that she replaced them anyway.These are my daughter?s shoes (in vgc because she rarely wears them) so I paid up to get them done for her in time for Christmas, but I was unhappy enough to ring another local branch of Timpsons this morning for a quote - and was told £24 for exactly the same repair.I?m guessing Timpsons is a franchise that allows each one to set its own prices, so while I wouldn?t be put off using Timpsons in future, I would NEVER use the Bouverie Square shop again.Told a friend who said ?they must have seen you coming,? and I?m sorry to say, I think he?s probably right.

Fantastic service and handiwork by Gary! I had taken my leather bag straps to another Timpson and the staff there had graciously told me he did not know how to fix it (it required specific tools and knowledge). I then brought the straps to this branch and Gary 'fixed' it for me perfectly - you can't tell there is any work done as they look almost brand new! You can be assured that workmanship in this outlet is excellent, and prices are reasonable too.
