One oc the most uneventful shopping experience. Considering 24hrs 3pm sat and could not find one leg or half of lamb Fresh pet food has been removed and not a decent looking vegetable. This is the newly done up version

Tesco Cheriton is a decent store overall ? it's usually well-stocked and the staff are friendly and helpful. No real issues with the shop itself.
The big problem is the car park. Since the McDonald?s was added, it?s become incredibly busy at all times of day. The layout just can?t handle the extra traffic, and the parking spaces are far too tight. Every time I?ve been, I?ve seen cars struggling to manoeuvre and even witnessed minor collisions or scrapes.
It feels chaotic and stressful, which really takes away from the convenience of shopping there. One simple improvement that could make a big difference is making the car park reverse parking only ? it would help improve visibility and reduce the number of accidents.
Until something changes, I avoid going unless I absolutely have to.

The pharmacy in this store is extremely understaffed. I have visited several times over the past few months for a repeat prescription. Each time just to advise you are there to collect your items you wait approximately 20 minutes. Only then to be told that you need to wait about 45 minutes for your prescription to be prepared and then about 5 more minutes after the 45 minutes you have been waiting to pay and collect.
Simply more staff is needed to cope with the demand and the process management needs to be reviewed.
Luckily my prescription is nothing serious but it makes me think if elderly people and families with sick children have the same experience it will be far worse for them.
Surely a company like Tesco have the funds available to have a fully staffed and fully functioning pharmacy service.
Come on Tesco do something for your community and sort it out!

I go into Tesco Cheriton everyday, early morning, and apart from the till staff, the staff around the store are miserable and you just hear them moan about the store etc. The staff that go round collecting for the online shoppers, are not considerate to the store customers, they leave the big trollies in the way, so it's hard to get where you need to go, and just are not polite or friendly. It's a shame the staff are letting what would be a good store down.

Used to shop here constantly but the new layout makes it impossible to come back, many items have been moved with no thought for the consumer experience and many isles are either too wide or barely large enough for one trolley, massively disappointing

Used to shop in here all the time but the new layout is simply headache-inducing!

I would like to say, that the member of staff dealing with a query on stock availability for myself was a credit to your store for her excellent customer liaison. She checked stock on her app which indicated that the item was available. There was nothing on the shelf. She went to deliveries to check cages but there were none to be seen. She then gave us good advice to where we could possibly obtain the product. The member of staff was working on health and beauty around lunchtime on Sunday 15th June 25'

I visited your Cheriton store today, making a special trip to shop before midnight, only to find that the store had closed early, with the shutters down, well before 11:30 PM. According to your advertised hours, the store is supposed to remain open until midnight. I?m disappointed to see that these hours were not being followed. It also claims it?s open on the website which is demonstrably false. I have to wonder how many other customers fuel and time were wasted travelling to a store that?s not open as advertised.

Just off the M20 and open long hours, so it's perfect for cross-channel shopping, buying fuel, charging your car, or eating McDonald's if you are into that.
3 hours parking is free. Spaces can be hard to find at peak times. Shopping trolleys do not require coins to release.
A small cafe is located at the entrance adjacent to the toilets with a disabled toilet.
Every other row of lights are turned off during quiet hours.

Big store, large parking, enough staff, less waiting ques, public toilets...........

The staff are great. The store is clean and well stocked. My reason for the four star is that this store is dated and showing it's age and needs to be redeveloped and made bigger. The car park is very difficult to navigate as well. Other than that it's the best large Tesxo store in this part of East Kent far better than the one in Dover and Thanet Westwood Cross or even Ramsgate.

Tesco superstores haven't changed much since the 90s. A bit of a facelift / update would be appropriate to justify the higher prices than at discount supermarket chains.
