Well where do I start with the legendary movies I've watched in this cinema since 1997? Classics like... The Polar Express, Star Trek Nemesis, War of the Worlds, Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were Rabbit, Top Gun Maverick.. the list goes on..The Silver Screen Cinema has certainly made memories for me and as mentioned seen all time legends of showings over the years and our little cinema holds it's status today within the community.. Cosy seating, immense surround sound, friendly staff and tasty snacks all at a decent price. Thanks to all who keep this cinema in the condition it's in and may it continue showing films for many years to come.

My wife and I took in a matinee just for folks with babies. Finding a babysitter is hard so we might have had to wait weeks or longer to see Dune: Part Two. Instead, we were made to feel welcome and, as far as I could tell, all of the patrons were comfortable with just doing baby things. It turns out you can enjoy yourself when you come in with the expectation of what a room full of babies can be like. It was a small but meaningful service that I?m glad I experienced. Nice one, Silver Screen.

I attended the film club showing of The Miracle Club in the main theatre. It's a good film but I was annoyed by a man behind me who really needs to get out more as he thought the comedy to be so hilarious that his laughing drowned out the following dialogue and made my seat rock which is not great when you suffer with vertigo! I wasn't expecting such a packed out venue but I think this was because the film showing in theatre 2 was sold out so those who hadn't purchased their ticket in advance ended up in 1. A shame as it's usually a very nice way to spend a Thursday morning.

Lovely local cinema - tickets and snacks a lot cheaper than the multiplex, always spotless inside

Beautiful cinema - unfortunately I haven?t been there since 2021 - exasperated by the terrible sound quality and uncomfortable sitting arrangements -

I love Folkestone Silver Screen Cinema. Such a classic cinema. Good price for the movies too. I don?t need or want a big fancy modern cinema. This little beauty is good for me!
