I do have a account with scewfix and was always pleased with the service I received.this Saturday I went in the Folkestone store and all I needed was a glass cutter so I went straight to the counter and asked the lad serving for a glass cutter .he looked on the screen and I paid for the one I wanted. I did think he was a bit surly with me and I was right in thinking that as he handed the glass cutter he said out loud for all to hear Didn?t think we served Jo public.what a bloody cheek they obviously can?t get the staff these days

Asked for help at the counter to be told I need to find what I was looking for on the iPad. As a DIY novice it would?ve been great to have help. Left and went to Wickes who, were only to pleased to help, won?t be retunring.

This is not a review particularly about the Folkestone store, more about the poor online ordering and delivery service or there lack of. My partner ordered 3 items on Tuesday, your website states 24hr delivery. Unbeknown to us you use parcelforce - being part of Royal Mail they had a day on strike Wednesday, so we had a wasted day waiting in as there was nothing to state you use parcel force and that delays could occur due to the strikes as is clear on other company websites who use Royal Mail services. Waited in today in which time 48hrs have passed, and only one item arrived late this afternoon. Upon calling your customer service line my partner was greeted with a rude man saying it can take up to 48 hours, we are two items missing and will be 72 hours in to our wait as I have to wait in again tomorrow being Friday, and unless my maths is that shocking I do believe surpasses the 48hrs in your recorded phone message. 3 days we have wasted waiting in for 3 items to be delivered. Needless to say wouldn?t recommend the online delivery service ever.

Excellent service, helpful patient staff, i only needed a light bulb i was having difficulty finding anywhere, the young man behind the counter gave me as much customer service as if i was spending ££££when i only spent £1.98. Well done
