Went in today to sell my Tamron 24 70mm 2.8 Nikon fit lens and was told they can't offer anything as it doesn't auto focus , I asked to speak to the guy who tested it and assured him it does work and he's not tested it correctly, asked him if I could show him on the camera he used but he refused, got home tested it again and works perfectly, he either tested on a camera body that has a different lens mount or the camera body was set to back button focus or on the shutter button and he doesn't know , what got me was he didn't want me to prove the lens worked , would rather look right than possibly learn something, UDATE SOLD MY LENS ON MPD FOR £184 which was £85 more so should say thank you , i was suggesting he didn't know how to correctly test the lens and likely tested it on a none compatible Nikon body or the focus button was set back button focus and he didn't know , either way MPD know how to test and grade camera equipment and they bought my lens , more training needed for CEX Folkestone staff for who test camera equipment

Went to Folkestone store on Wednesday 18/06/25.
Went in with some family to get an iPhone. All staff were extremely helpful, didn?t make us feel like we were wasting our time or taking to long, as we were trading in a phone as well.
Unfortunately didn?t get all of the names of the staff that helped us.
We were served by a lovely girl called Molly. Absolutely wonderful mannerisms, very polite.
We also had three different gentleman helping us as well, can?t fault the staff .

Rude staff making stuff up, need ID for them to buy but not for trade in, pretty funny how that's seems to work into your business model ey. Rude lady wouldn't take a clear form of ID. Sell stuff yourself don't go to these penny pinchers

My partner and I went to Cex in Folkestone this morning to purchase a new iPhone.
We were waiting with one other customer in front of us. The woman working behind the till was extremely rude to everyone queuing for no apparent reason. We left as neither of us wanted to spend our hard earned money in a shop with such a rude employee

Went there to browse and went to the desk with some DVDs I knew my mum liked and thought I would get her them as a present. They were both twelves so I didn?t think there would be much of an issue but they wouldn?t sell me the DVDs as I didn?t have a physical form of ID on me. I have bought twelves from there on multiple times and have only been denied buying twelves by a certain worker I?ve seen other people have issues with. I get they are just keeping in mind the fact that kids do try and buy DVDs they?re not old enough to but I have only had this issue with the one worker.
