I visited Boots in Folkstone on Tuesday 29th July.I had the start of conjunctivitis which happens to me due to the pollen count at this time of year most years so historically I try to catch it before it goes into a full blown problem. I approached the Pharmacy and spoke to a lady on the counter and explained my position and requested the normal ointment I use for the problem.She said that she would speak to the Pharmacist who was based out the back of the shop. She disappeared for five minutes and then came back only to say that in her opinion my eye problem was not severe enough for her to sell me the ointment requested.She said that the Pharmacist had also agreed with her this despite the Pharmacist not even coming out to see the problem with my eye. I requested to speak to the Pharmacist and she reluctantly went out the back again and spoke to him again. She then came back and said in an off hand rude manner that he will come out and see me shortly.I waited a further 15 minutes and the pharmacist still never came out to see me.
I left the shop and went a 100 yards down the road to another Chemist and again explained the situation,the person behind the counter asked me a couple of questions and then duly sold me the product I needed.
The out of date profile that Boots have in their High Street Shops is matched only by their extremely poor Customer Service I experienced.Surely its only a matter of time before this type of shop disappears completely.

Tara saw my dad today about one of his hearing aids. She was very thorough and checked dad?s hearing and recalibrated them. One has been sent off for a repair as it was not working correctly and Tara was most helpful.

Boots at Folkestone has got to have the worst pharmacy in Kent . The staff will see you are waiting then deliberately disappear into the back room to avoid serving you . No apologies when they eventually come out . I have given the staff many opportunities to perform better ; but Ive given up now . Dont bother going in if you want to be treated properly .

Well, I'm not the best of health after 2 lots of cancer and other issues. I had got stranded in the euro tunnel for 29 hrs and the 2 more days in Folkstone while some shoddy garage looked at my vehicle.
Having walked miles and miles I'd blisters on my heels and so painful.
There was a young guy on the door, I explained the situation, rather than help a poor soul in a situation he holered 09.30 twice at me and that was that.
This is how boots staff treat people in distress.
I've a miner mental health issue caused by my cancers and all the radiotherapy.
People don't care, UNTIL I went to Superdrug, totally different experience.

The lady in the till I think her name was Tina, was very rude and needs to given some training on her customer services and taught how to treat every customer with respect. Will not be coming to this store again.

Fed up of going to pharmacy and they're closed for lunch. They don't seem to have set times, they seem to close randomly. Tried phoning...no answer from any of the options. Rubbish service.

We went to the Pharmacy today. It was very busy. However once we were being served by Mandy we were happy.She was extremely helpful and kind. She went out of her way to ensure we got the item we needed. She was charming and we received five star treatment from her.I hope Boots appreciate her as much as we did.

Asked store assistant about a perfume who didn?t know anything. Also asked the manager and received wrong product. Refused to refund me because of a rip in the plastic which was already there. Manager was very rude and raised her voice at me. Will not be returning to this store.
