Good pizza. Pasta portions on the small side. Hard working staff, but unfortunately not enough of them, so meals were delayed and drinks were not delivered. They should have stopped seating new guests if they couldn't cope with those they already had.

This was our first visit to Ask Italian and will be our last! To start off when ordering using the website and going to pay we were charged £5 per person in a group of six for service charge. The food we ordered was bland and tasteless (linguine carbanara) and the meat was very fatty and chewy. Just not what I was expecting from a lovely looking restaurant.

The pizza (Natale) was great. 5 stars. They should take the carbonara off the menu, it's better to make it at home. There wasn't even cheese in it (just cream) and it tasted very bland. Would the chef have tasted it himself? Really not worth £15. The Shiraz was
tasty and not very expensive.
