Had a lovely lunch there recently. Great to see the pub busy on a sunny day with drinkers and lots of food orders. Service very good also. Look forward to returning!

As visitors we had been warned about the car park charges, thankfully the carpark is no longer being charged for. The new management are really trying hard to please customers. The meal was ok but my wife said the soup was not piping hot. I wish them every success in making a go of it, far too many places are closing because of the apathy of the general public.

Lovely old village pub although the village is now a town this pub still has that historic feel to it with great quality food, I recommend the burgers ?

Under new ownership since May 2024 - big improvement with regular opening hours and a good range of beers. The food is good, and of generous portions, but expect to pay over £15 for a main. The pub itself is a lovely old building with a big garden at the back and lots of parking.
