We played the championship course and what a gem, fantastic layout, great condition and true green considering the amount of rain in the last 2-3 weeks. The clubhouse is fairly decent as is the food / drink. Some challenging holes with a mixture of narrow fairways, doglegs etc. Personally, felt the 17th 620 yard plus for amateur golf is a slight overkill and one that can destroy the scorecard. Overall a wonderful experience and will certainly return one day.

My friend and I played here last Saturday for the first time, on the Princes 9 hole course. This is definitely the best course I've ever played on. The course looks beautiful and extremely well kept. I highly recommend playing here whatever your Handicap score. I'm definitely going to look at becoming a membership here.

We hosted a 'We Do Part Two' wedding reception here. I simply cannot express how wonderful it was. From Kate organising to the chef and his amazing Grazing Table. Sonia and her staff on the evening were also fabulous. We had the best time which was a brilliant end to all the celebrations. Lastly, the venue is beautiful.Thank you to you all xxx

Stopped here for breakfast when staying in the on-site lodging. Breakfast was good, but expensive for what we got, even compared to other golf clubs. Beautiful view and friendly staff.

Played the absolutely fantastic Championship Course including an incredible sequence of 3 holes mid round just like Amen corner in the US Masters. You really feel special playing these holes. Excellent challenging course, great greens, fully sanded bunkers and a rare tough 620 yard (yellow tee) par 5. This hole is a crafty narrow dog leg as well but chuffed to par it!At the end of round we were so impressed by Marilyn and Marcus in the Bar. We were given a very lovely welcoming reception and made to feel totally at home. Best service we've ever had. Great day out! You've got to get on Amen corner!!! My handicap is 24 and carded back 9 46 and round of 99.

Played here yesterday with 6 others. Whilst the greens were quick and true, sadly the same can?t be said about the fairways which were in really bad shape overall. £50 a tad steep considering conditions. Good pint of Guinness in the bar though.

Beautiful views whilst playing on a beautifully kept course. Greens in September were exceptional. Nice wide course so very forgiving. Some nice long par fours and tricky par threes. Not that hard a course but very enjoyable.Restaurant, cafe and bar are very nice. The staff throughout were very nice and friendly.Hotel looks like a lovely place to stay.We had a day of rain, so must visit again in better weather!All round good place to visit.

No way this is a 4* hotel. One hand towel and one bath towel for our double room. The only tea available in the room was PG Tips although 2 types of sugar. None of the toiletries were replaced during our 2 night stay.At breakfast the cooked breakfast had to be put on cold plates. We also had dinner where I ordered rump steak. I should have sent it straight back as it obviously wasn't rump steak. It was thin and no where near the 8oz it should have been. There was so much gristle that it was like chewing plastic.

Nice place. Food is only served at lunchtimes and closes at 5.30pm so there is no evening dining available in the restaurant. Good parking, pro shop and friendly staff.

A lovely lunch but sadly it was raining so only enjoyed the splendid view from inside. The garden around the fountain and water would be dreamy to enjoy on a sunny day.

Yes the golf course was in good condition , the clubhouse , surroundings and facilities are easy on the eye But the golf club management are the worse kind of people and leave a bitter taste in your mouth.Our society recently paid a visit there booking 10 tee times with a bacon roll/ coffee each for the handsome sum of £2000.00.They were very happy to take our money but then banned us from going again due to 1 group being reported for slow play.
