I love The Works and Danielle who works there is amazing and a credit to the store. Second I walked in today she told me about a deal that was going on that she knew I'd love and said she found a duck that she'd been keeping for me as I always buy a duck when shopping there! She gets to know her customers and she really cares!

Danielle manager is always great and helps me a lot always giving me new books to read and always enjoy the books she suggests and knows what type of books very happy with the service she gives me and helps me even if I don?t go in for a while she know if I go in for one book always come out with loads of new books to read

I love going to The Works'. The staff are always helpful and often go above and beyond trying to help you find just the right thing. The children love going into the shop as well, as you can always find something interesting to buy.

Ordered for Click and Collect to the Dover store as I was going to be in Dover today but I'd not had a message to say my order was ready. I called the store and it sounded quite busy but the lady said she'd check to see if it was in but not yet on the system. It wasn't so she suggested I call back about 5pm as they may have had a delivery by then. She then called me back at 4pm, having used 1471 to get my number, to tell me that my order was in and ready to collect before I went home. I found out her name is Natalia and I was so impressed by the level of customer service. If she hadn't called I probably would have forgotten and had to make another trip to Dover just to pick up my order so I really appreciated the fact that she did. I got the 10 kids books for £10 and have ended up reading my niece 4 bedtime stories tonight!

Your typical Works store, some things are overpriced and most of it is usually craft bits and kids books/toys etc wouldn't go out of my way to visit and might pop in on the way past. You will notice they're always having a closing down sale lol

This place has been closing down since I can remember. Not a great selection and not great prices but staff were nice and there's often an overpriced book with lovely pictures that makes a good gift so not bad.

Absolutely disgusting how they give the wrong information send you to other stores for products which I was told by the folkestone manager they 100% have in stock to then travel there to store and they dont have them. A call back to the dover store and not an apology but to be told Ok when I told them its unacceptable to give wrong information. Fuming
