I paid o er £3 for extra cheese and it was extremely stingy.
I asked for more as thats what I paid for and instead of just dealing with the issue I was told ive had my lot with no proof.
Guess the customer isn't ever right in this place.

Great traditional Weatherspoons pub as like all Weatherspoons pubs are historic the usual atmosphere and food.

Stopped in here after driving down from Liverpool on our way to Germany (31/7/25)
Arrived at 10pm and were greeted by a smiling, polite and very helpful young lady whose name I forgot to ask.
We ordered food and drinks and took a seat in the quiet but friendly atmosphere.
Food arrived quickly and was delicious, hot and well presented.
A lovely short (and alcohol free) visit before our ferry. Absolutely nothing negative to say, very happy customers.

Usually a good pub - HOWEVER, 6 real ciders available.....not one in the chilled cabinets ????? - who wants to drink room temperature cider, on a HOT day, during 'the cider festival'? ?????
