Percy, our elderly pug, and a dear old friend and member of our family reached the end yesterday and we had to have him put to sleep. Caroline and the lady with her - I'm sorry- I don't know her name - were so utterly wonderful- so empathic, loving, patient and sensitive. The end was completely peaceful with absolutely no stress to the poor old boy. Thank you so much for being there for us. We are truly grateful.

I had the most traumatic experience whilst putting my dog to sleep, where she managed to bite my face. I cannot praise this practice enough for their quick thinking and the way they assisted me. Carole the practice manager needs to be mentioned especially, whilst my face was heavily bleeding, she was with me and held my hand throughout being extremely supportive. I will never be able to thank Carole enough for just how good she was and will forever be eternally greatful to her. She thinks quickly on the ground, she stays calm under pressure and the way she is with her team reassuring them equally as much is something only an everyday hero would do. Thank you all, thank you Carole!

As a licensed dog boarder, I've faced numerous challenges with animal vaccination certificates and related documentation. Recently, I needed an AHC certificate for a dog in my care, and I reached out to Maison Dieu Veterinary in Dover. I was impressed by their exceptional service. They provided all the information I needed, explained the process clearly, and even invited me in to review the paperwork together. Their assistance made a potentially stressful situation much easier. I highly recommend Maison Dieu Veterinary for their professionalism and support!

Might be suitable for dogs or cats, but if you own reptiles or avians, stay away. One of their staff members attempted to tell my partner and I that Pigeons are not domesticated and that washing an open wound with Saline is wrong/bad "because it stings them". Ridiculous statement to make when the RSPCA websites even states that they are the oldest domesticated bird species in the world, going back 5000+ years.
Save yourself a headache, go to Burnham or Vets4Pets instead. Better service, better staff, better treatment, better communication, higher levels of care and consideration for the animals. This place blows. I'll never trust their words after their 'non-domesticated' remark. They clearly don't know squat.

I felt really annoyed leaving here and actually shocked how expensive this was and as I went to pay and the women behind the desk said the price I nearly fell over ? and I quickly said (YOUR JOKEING) and she replied no that?s how much it is £39 to get your dogs nails cut!!!! I then replied that?s a hell a lot of money to just cut the dogs nails and was literally in there for 5mins I couldn?t believe it!!! I felt the lady was abit rude back to me but it?s true and really annoys me when vets charge these prices and I didn?t actually have a lot of money it?s just I wanted his nails cut and never expected it to be £39 I actually thought the lady may of got it all wrong but she snapped with attitude and said no that?s the price!!, I won?t ever go to this vets again and iv posted the screen shot of how much I was charged to get my dogs nails clipped ? most vets only charge up to £20 ? some vets like these are so expensive and ripping people off it?s bad! and should be investigated

We have just got a puppy who needed her second injections.
We looked around for a vets and came across this vets which is within walking distance.
First impressions of the place were good and the reception staff were friendly and the place is clean and tidy.
We went into the vets room, and it was a very warm welcome. She told us all the information we needed to know and was more than happy to answer our questions.
Overall, the vets is lovely, and we would definitely recommend them.

Do not use these vets! I feel I?ve been conned and ripped off. I registered my 18 month cockaspaniel at this vets due to being the nearest one to where I live but have now left after 1 month! I had just paid to rescue her from a farm, got her registered and chipped straight away and paid for the monthly subscription of £16 so I can keep her up-to date with flea and worming treatment. She recently had a sore back leg and was limping so took her for in, they didn?t discuss how much pain relief or treatment would cost but charged me £70 for steroids, I was shocked but paid! I spoke to friends and family who advised me their vets give a pain relief injection of £13 so i decided I?d move her, My puppy had also started scratching so much I found she had fleas even though I?d been given flea treatment from this vets! I ended up going to a pet shop to buy flea treatment for her myself which has now worked. I am 17 and cannot afford sudden bills like this so started the process of moving her to the recommended vets whose prices are more reasonable including the monthly subscription only being £11.50. Maison dieu veterinary group then told me I have to pay them £150 to leave even though I?ve only been there a month and the flea treatment didn?t even work! The receptionists have been so rude and unhelpful I?m disgusted?they even threatened bailiffs coming to my house if I didn?t pay them this unreasonable fee! I have paid everything upto date and didn?t deserve this treatment! The new vets i registered at also advised me that Maison dieu veterinary group said they had no record of me or my pet on their files. Very unprofessional and I would advise everyone to avoid this vets!
