Just back from my son's 10th birthday party at Gamebase.From start to finish everything ran so smoothly. Bulba is an incredible asset to the place- so enthusiastic and welcoming. Huge thank you to Gamebase for hosting my sons 8th birthday yesterday. In his words "it was epic" from a mum perspective it was the easiest birthday party to date - we just had to rock up with party bags and a cake ? Our party host Bulba was just a absolute legend - he's so good at what he does and is a huge asset to the party package! And to Wednesday & Jim for dashing about sorting pizza's and just making sure everything ran perfectly - which it did! I love how this place makes gaming social (rather than kids playing at home alone). You can see they're all learning from each other and the staff are always on hand to help out as well (which is great for me as I know nothing about gaming). Highly recommend the party package but also the place for their general day to day offering. We love Gamebase!

My son had his 12th birthday here this eve. I could not recommend this place enough. Staff are super attentive to everyone's individual needs and overall are all happy and smiley and nothing was too much trouble.They have definitely gained a customer

Very helpful and friendly would recomend here have lots of stock and great big used section too which not ot usually have. They also have the games room out the back would recomend for parties

Absolute rip off of a shop selling 2nd hand controllers for £40!!! I?d rather add an xtra £10 and get brand new! Well considering I just got 2 black official with there barcode stickers still attached for £25 still is a rip off for one controller!

We come here all the time!! -we are so fortune to have something like this right on our door steps.My son (6) is absolutely obsessed with this place and has become so fond of ALL of the staff members, they've each gone out of their way to learn his name, and make him feel so welcome every single time without fail.If he is ever stuck, they're there without him needing to ask for help. They've introduce him to new games, shown him the difference consoles and played VR with him.It's such an amazing venue, and so cheap for the experience you get...we are always having our little catch ups here. With the cafe upstairs, it's easy to meet up with friends and family.We also had an ultimax party here this weekend too; Joe and Bulba were incredible. Kids had the absolute best time ??

Came in for a demo on the Nintendo Switch. Bulba was brilliant, and helped us enormously, full of knowledge and the kids loved the experience.

Went there today to pick up some Crash Bandicoot Games. Staff were lovely, cracking jokes, being engaged, and eager to help. Game were in decent nick, some had a few scuffs, but nothing that I'd deem a deal breaker as long as they work. Competitive prices and completely reasonable asks. No complaints at all, had a lovely time. I'll be back.

Regularly visit with my son for the SEN sessions he loves it and has so much fun especially when he gets chatting with Bulba!
