Apparently these opening times were confirmed by the business a week ago? (6:30pm close)

Ridiculous policy and double standards. Won't take items without the original cable but more than happy to fob you off with cheap crappy chargers, controllers and cables not from manufacturer. Sort it out

I went down to Dover cex to get some blu ray?s & DVD?s I wanted for my collection. I could find most of the blu ray?s I wanted, but barely any of the DVD?s I wanted I couldn?t find on the shelf. I went up to the counter as the app said they are in stock. The staff?s answer was ?Oh we have gone through a lot of the DVD?s to recycle them?
That is a first to hear that in any cex store I?ve been to. They went to the back to check to see if they still had them, for about not even 2 minutes & considering I wanted 8-10, there is no way the staff went through a few thousand dvds - got the impression they didn?t care & couldn?t be bothered & frustrated enough of not getting a straight answer?
I left the store very disappointed & when I checked all the discs were the correct format & film - One had a dvd in the case rather than the blu ray. So had to walk back to the store & they said it was bought in by mistake as a dvd, not a blu ray. So not doing their jobs properly when customers trade goods in & not checking them properly when being bought, just very little care & attention taken.
And about 3 months later the DVD?s I wanted to buy & were supposedly being recycled (Not for sale???) - are still in stock to buy???

Purchased Terminator 2 on DVD yesterday. Got home to find the sales assistant hadn?t put the DVD in the case and had sold me an EMPTY DVD case! I was only visiting Dover for the day so can?t return it. Very disappointed! Unlike The Terminator, I will NOT be back.

Had an issue with a controller that I had purchased at Christmas last year, even tho my warranty was 3 day past they tested it and found a slight fault and exchanged it with no issues, was very pleased with the service I received and made this gamer very happy. Thank you guys you're awesome ?

Games can be cheap enought to think you getting a bargain each, but selling games or dvd or electronics to them is a joke.

The manager was amazing, wanted to know details about something in a different store, he phoned them and all the details even got pictures within minutes, the only reason not five stars is because I traded in a normal PS5 controller and the lady at the counter, needed to ask their colleague what controller this was... I feel like You should know what a PS5 controller is if you work in cex...

Shocking customer service!! It's like they have put everything that is wrong with this generation into one store. Every cliche and stereotype of what you would expect is right here. 9 staff wedged behind a desk, shocking music and just not very helpful.
