I ordered an item from here through the online shop, I received the item only to open it up to discover half of what was promised within the order was missing. So I called up the shop only to speak to an extremely rude guy who informed me that they did not even send over the other half of the item and that I should be "grateful" that he was going to send the other half of the item. He told me to "be quiet" and after expressing that he was being rude to a disabled person he refused to identify himself and hung up the open. I have reported this to Oxfam shop management and I hope this matter is dealt with in due time.

One of the better Oxfam bookshops in the south of England. It is on two floors. There's a large selection of books upstairs including a massive selection for children. Downstairs there are plenty of fiction paperbacks plus some hardback novels and selection of books for small children. Overall the stock is what you find in the standard Oxfam Bookshop: it mixes the fairly mundane with the fairly interesting; unlike many Oxfam bookshops the odd bargain can be had with diligent searching. Worth visiting if you are anywhere near this lovely Kent town.

Big range of books. Lovely old borderline antiques available and small selection of foreign language books too. Most books are incredibly cheap. Staff always nice and polite, why go to a big chain store when you could shop here and support charity?Easy to get to with car parks nearby.
