Often you find staff that don?t give a damn and when you find a gem like the chap at Hutt 55 who helped myself and friends with bikes on Saturday (think it was Coulder - apologies for spelling!), you are uplifted and so appreciative. He was polite, kind, extremely helpful and all with a lovely smile! Thank you - I will be back.

Reliably gorgeous coffee and cakes, but was a bit alarmed by the thinness of the banana bread on my most recent visit... Finger for scale (and mine are relatively ordinary sized fingers). Hopefully it was a one off. I'll be back soon regardless :)

I got bike hire for 2 days of my summer trip to Deal. The bike was in very good working order and coped with the big descents and climbs into and out of Dover. It's a brilliant route along the 1. Service here was excellent. One member of staff was particularly brilliant on both days, sorry I didn't get her name but I appreciated the sorting of the bike when you were very, very busy.

A very good place to hire a bike. A very kind staff.
But it would be wonderful to be able to return bikes until 18:00-19:00, not 16:00.

We hired bikes for the afternoon from Hut 55. The guy running the bikes hire was super friendly and helpful and the bikes were just what you need to cycle round the local towns, would recommend.

Small hut situated on the coastal path in Deal/ Walmer in Kent.
Right on the beach this little refreshment hut sells a range of teas and coffees plus sweet and savoury bakes. There is an inside seating area which would accommodate around 15 people. They also have an outside area plus some deckchairs so when it's warm and sunny you can enjoy your refreshments outside. I found the staff cheerful and helpful and my mocha tasted really good and was cheaper than quite a few other places I've been.
